About this condo rental
The Beach Villas are within a short walk of all facilities at Riversdale Beach. Take a stroll along the four kilometre sandy beach, swim, surf, fish or just chill out, it's up to you!! There is a nine hole golf course just down the road, or hire the tennis courts for a game. Meals are available on Friday nights at the club and everyone is welcome. The local store sells all the essentials, as well as fishing gear, takeaways and great coffee. Riversdale Beach is a great place to base yourself, while you take short day trips to enjoy some of the other attractions available within the area, such as; Castlepoint, the local vineyards, shopping, a visit to Pukaha Mount Bruce Bird Reserve etc. Extras: Cleaning (Required, NZ$30.00 per stay); NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels);

The villa is really well located - close to the beach and to shops. Everything you need is there. There are books and puzzles to do, so a great bolt hole for a break away from usual routines.
The only issue we had was with very low water pressure which affects hot water, in the kitchen, bathroom (including the shower) and toilet.

Thank you so much for an amazing stay! You were so helpful and accommodating during a very stressful time for our family. I appreciated your help, and the ease of check-in and check-out. Another incredible aspect was high quality and beautifully fresh linen on the beds when we arrived!! (I presumed we had to bring our own so this was a treat for sure). Great location for easy access to the school camp. Very reasonably priced, beautifully clean and an absolute breeze to deal with. Thank you so much. Recommend to all.

Great place for a quiet few days away. Biggest problem is the locals who know every bump and blind ridge on the road in/out, trying to shave 30 seconds of their best time from home to Masterton Macdonalds in their inevitabal Nissan Navaros

the unit was perfect the furniture, bed, kitchen utensils. in fact everything was great. one hiccup was that we got the wrong unit which was not fenced for the dog, but this was not a problem. the site needs to be updated.as we took all the bedding and towels as indicated, when Michelle has them. i would absolutely recommend the place to anyone who wants a relaxing time. best we have ever stayed in.

This is a great property that needs some attention to get to be the five star property it deserves to be. Investing time and giving attention to detail would make this the ideal place to stay. Riversdale is a lovely place to stay - we enjoyed our time there.

I'd guess the only thing the cleaner did before our visit was empty the rubbish bin and change the sheets. Fairly certain the carpet hadn't been vacuumed recently, the sofa cushions hadn't even been plumped. The oven and freezer were disgusting, and the laundry tub had a heap of sand in it. The bed was only a double so pretty cramped, especially in warm weather. The shower was ineffectual. The best before date on the coffee was definitely pre pandemic.

well equiped for us who are 80+ and like the sea. I got up at 4am on two mornings to watch world cup, which was the highlight of our stay. Weather was rainy but we still enjoyed the weekend.

Nice tidy property. Easy to stay in and close to beach and shop. Two units on the property but didn't notice that at all. Very private and quiet. Would stay there again.

Overall I loved the place, it was spacious in the lounge, rooms were good, beds were comfy and plenty of space outside for the kids to be able to ride their scooters. There were a few things that weren't so great the oven was dirty and when opened there was a cockroach inside, there were a couple blood stains on the cushion on the couch and in the room with the bigger bed on the top sheet and the shower pressure isn't very good at all. Aside from those things we all had an amazing time and will definitely be back, hoping that those things will be sorted for our next stay. Thanks heaps.
