BE CAREFUL - we booked the place as a group because of its advertised quiet beachfront location outside of the busy party area. The price is high but seemed ok for what was promised. The complex is old and worn, the apartment was ok, but already on the first morning we were woken early by heavy reconstruction in the adjacent apartment - definitely no sleeping in. Jackhammers and heavy hammers were used there to tear down walls. It was so loud that we couldn’t even have a conversation, or even think about breakfast in the place. The balcony useless. As this place is naturally being used to stay in to enjoy the beach and balcony, this was unacceptable. We complained to the host, Eli, several times and she promised to take care of it. At 5 pm the noise finally stopped (because of legal requirements, not intervention of the host). The next day the same, despite the hosts assurances to take care of it. Only when I threatened to move out and demand a refund and (copy to booking.com) she suddenly offered a relocation to another apartment in the complex and a refund of one night for the inconvenience. She showed us two apartments, one with only 2 beds/4 spots (we were 7 adults), another with the same layout but again closer to the reconstruction, much older furnishing and yellowed walls. She reconfirmed her offer of a refund in person and apologized. As moving with 7 people was already complicated we accepted the older apartment. It was not quiet, but at lower levels of noise compared to the first apartment - together with the refund an acceptable solution. After check out the host then deleted the WhatsApp message and denied the refund, stating, that she only offered it if we took the smaller apartment which did not offer enough sleeping space (?!). This is a lie. It was LOUD, we were SCAMMED with the promise of a refund, moved to an older unit that did not correspond to original photos on the website and did definitely not enjoy our stay.

The smell when we arrived in the condo wasn’t that pleasant-

Easy to get to - big and comfortable. Great for a group.

The upstairs cooktop kept leaking and the main gas also leaked.
