Lakefront on a very beautiful cove and close to very popular ATV/UTV public trails! 3BR/3BA plus additional bunk area for kids. Bunk area sleeps up to 7 kids and includes their own big screen tv and gaming console. Enjoy the privacy and view of the lake from 3 different outside levels or stay inside and capture the view through the wall of windows. Close to I-75 on a very quiet part of the lake and only a short drive to 3 major ATV/UTV public off-road trails. Indoors you will find a fully equipped kitchen (oven, refrigerator, microwave, plates, cups, bowls, utensils, toaster, coffee pot and more). Finished basement includes 2nd full size refrigerator and washer/dryer. We also provide at no additional cost sheets, some bath towels and washcloths, toilet paper and hand/dish soap. Outdoors you will find an easy to get to extra large covered boat dock with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the quiet cove. Corn hole, swing, paddle boat and kayaks are provided and just a short walking distance to public hiking trails. Deep water dock provides year round boat access which makes for the ultimate year round fishermans vacation! House is close to Mountain Lake Marina, Norris Dam Marina and a short boat ride to Twin Cove Marina and Sequoyah Marina. Parking for 3-4 cars in driveway. Convenient boat ramp is minutes from house. We rented this home for thanksgiving to meet mid way with family. The driveway is very steep! The house doesn’t allow pets yet I saw pet hair all over the floor. Overall the house did not look like it was just cleaned for our visit but rather like it sat for a while not being rented. Another disappointing thing was it didn’t have a wine bottle opener. I messaged the owner and they said there should be one but there wasn’t. I would have expected them to send one over. It definitely didn’t provide any of the usual necessities you get with other rental cabins such as paper towels, trash bags etc. Found that kind of weird. Overall the house is spacious and views are beautiful. We enjoyed the kayaks and had a great time.

If I could give Hiwassee Hideaway more than 5 stars, I would! The house was absolute perfection…our hosts left plenty of supplies and lots of information about restaurants and things to do…they were amazing!!!! The minute we walked into the house, our stress level disappeared and we were in heaven! It was so incredibly peaceful and looking out of the full wall of windows in the morning while the sun came up took our breath away. House was immaculate, beds were extremely comfortable and the house had plenty of amenities. Planning on making Hiwasse Hide-away our annual “retreat”. Rent this house….you won’t be dissappointed!!!!

This spot on the lake was excellent - quiet cove, close to nice boating water, and not too far from highway/grocery. The stairs and dock setup were fabulous. Nicest stairs of any Norris property I've been to in the 8 years we've been going. The house was well equipped and big enough for our group. However, we found the single bath on the main floor to be just not enough for the 4 adults sharing it, just personal preference. The kid space downstairs was excellent for sleeping, playing, watching TV, etc. The only downfall on the property in my opinion was the outdoor space. The large table was on the lower deck right outside the kid's room. This wasn't ideal for groups with small kids who get to bed earlier. The owner was responsive and friendly. Overall, great experience and yet another amazing vacation on beautiful Norris Lake!

The home is beautiful with an incredible location. Our group had a great time and the house was a major part of it. Cindy is the best host I’ve worked with, great recommendations and communication. We highly recommend and hope to come back!

This property is very nice and on a quiet cove which makes it great to swim in lake. There is a marina just a 5 min boat ride away that will drop off your boat rental right to dock, which was very convenient. All the stairs from house to dock can make it challenging and a chore if you forget something and very slippery when caught in rainy weather. Three recommendations to the owners: 1) the path from stairway to house, which are pavers in the ground on the hillside...are dangerous when wet. Maybe a concrete sidewalk would be better. 2) the baby gate at house does not fit the opening at top of stairs, would recommend finding one that does. We had a toddler with us and had to improvise to block the stairway. 3) the new lights installed in master bathroom above sink are not high enough for average height people. Both my husband and I are 5'9" and 5'8" respectively and had to duck to see in the mirror. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property and hope to be back.

We had a great first trip to Norris! We loved this home and the location. Our boys (17, 15 and 13) loved the jumping rocks just outside the quiet cove. We rented a jet ski for 2 days from twin cove Marina and the pick up and drop off was very easy. (We also rented a boat but we waited too long and had to drive pretty far to get it and the return process wasn’t as easy as if we had rented from a close marina). I’d recommend renting a boat from mountain lake or twin cove but make sure to do it early. The driveway at this home took some time to get used to as it is steep but it was no where near as steep and long as some of the others we saw in the area. We preferred going down the gravel side and up the paved side if that’s helpful. 😂. My 3 boys and I were also able to join a local gym (for 1 week) to go to in the mornings. It was only 15 minutes away and the price was very reasonable. (Top Fitness). The owner’s recommended El Charro (Mexican) for us to try for dinner and our whole family loved it! We left a menu in the information booklet at the house.

The pictures listed do not give this home any justice. It is so beautiful and peaceful. Very spacious, comfortable and inviting . None of us wanted to leave. Joe and Cindy were very nice and their communication along with recommendations for family outings, activities and food was great! I hope to visit this beautiful location soon.

We were literally pulling our of our driveway (boat in tow) when the owner of our OTHER rental called to let us know they had a water line break and the rental was flooded. We got online and reached out to the owners of "Hiwassee Hideaway" and they responded immediately . They got their cleaning crew into the house and we were able to check-in that evening. They were so kind, considerate and accommodating! The house was fantastic and the location is perfect. We can't say enough great things about them and the house!

The house was lovely, and convenient to Mountain Lake marina. Well kept dock on quiet cove. Just perfect for my family to enjoy the long weekend. House was nicely decorated and furnished. The owners clearly take pride in their home. My only suggestion is two of the toilets were really small, so not the best for tall/larger folks.

They even delivered the boat right to our dock. Very convenient. The home is well stocked and provided everything we needed in addition to an amazing view! The check in process and communication with the owner was great.

Great Vacation Location!
This was our first time visiting Norris Lake and we really enjoyed it. This rental is in a great location, it is in a private large cove but very close to a marina and the jumping rock (which we visited every day). Very easy check in process and communication from the owners was top notch!

Nice Place for A Long Weekend
2nd consecutive year at Norris during fall break. House is great-nice and clean and well appointed. My family got a lot of use out of the kayaks supplied by the renters, which is a really nice amenity. The only thing that caught me off guard was the driveway. Wow, very intimidating the first couple of time you go up and down. If your vehicle has a low ground clearance you will likely bottom out. We scraped, but no permanent damage. Just take it slow. Overall, I give 4 stars! 5 stars if they do some work on the driveway!

Guys Fishing Trip
Beautiful property, very clean and accommodating home with enough room for 4-6 adults. 20 minutes from town and very peaceful seating on the lake with great fire pit overlooking the water. Highly recommend

This was our first visit to Norris Lake, and it certainly did not disappoint! Beautiful house, with a spectacular view of the lake! Our party consisted of 4 adults and there was plenty of room for all of us. We cooked in or used the grill every day, as the kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed. The house was impeccably clean, modern, open and airy. The dock was amazing also. We rented a boat off of Vrbo and had an amazing time exploring the lake. It was nice to be able to put the boat under the covered dock at the end of the day. It’s also important to note that the dock at this property stays floating even after the water levels get dropped in September. Being on a quiet and peaceful cove made for excellent swimming right off of the dock. The water was absolutely gorgeous, clean and clear…so much fun to swim in. It was such a wonderful and relaxing time, and we all agreed that we would absolutely go back! Check-in process was very easy, and Cindy the property owner was great to work with!

Fantastic hideaway
This property was gorgeous and had plenty of room for our group of 11! The covered dock was amazing and we were able to keep 2 boats there easy. A few of us enjoyed taking the kayaks out one morning. The cove was a great, private location…..would definitely stay here again. The owners were wonderful and touched base with me along the way to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. I highly recommend this place!!!

Relaxing Vacation
There were 2 couples on this trip. The house was comfortable and clean and had great views. We rented a pontoon which
we used every day. It was so worth it. We went to a different marina every day for lunch. The lake is huge with so much to see. If you want to unwind and relax, look no further. Hiwassee Hideaway is the place to be.

We just returned home from a week at this lovely property. It had everything we needed and was conveniently located to town, several marinas, fishing spots, and a fun swimming area with a cliff for jumping. The property owners were great to communicate with and made sure we had all necessary information. We hope to go back again next year!

Great house on a quiet cove!
Overall a great experience and wonderful place for a vacation getaway! Easy check-in and check-out process, clean and spacious house and awesome dock! House was located on a quiet cove great for swimming, floating and hanging out but also convenient with the Marina and jumping rock right around the corner! Owners were great with communication and always available to answer any and all questions. Would recommend to others!

We had such a wonderful family experience this last week. Enough room to be comfortable, yet also enough to be cozy or singular as well. Terrific cove for fun times and right by the jumping rock for some excitement. It is a beautiful home and all the amenities to help to make it a perfect trip!

Fabulous In Every Way
This home was perfect for our family getaway. Very clean home, had everything we needed, the cove the home sits in is beautiful, quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed just relaxing on the dock many days. Great location on the lake. The host is very helpful and responsive. I would recommend this home to anyone. We plan to stay here again soon!
