A comfortable and lovely stay. Our American friend loved the proximity of the native animals..

It was very clean and tidy . The wall heating system worked well with adequate heat to upper and lower levels. The proprietors provided instructions re accessing the property and car parking was provided.

All good for our two nights stay with our American friend .

Best holiday

superbly maintained. Nice little extras like slots in the cutlery door for knives, Auto ignition on barbeque worked; usually they don't.

Confusion at key pick up. Otherwise exceptional. a neighbour practiced 'DRUMS' in the afternoon which was disturbing

One of the gems in Halls Gap!

Excellent location, 5 - 10min walk into town. The picturesque location is also amazing. Kangaroos around the property were seen multiple times throughout the day.

Comfortable & great location Eco friendly as much as possible. Recycle/ products are eco and vegan - wildlife & birds are part of the living space we all share - loved the ethos and respect for the environment.

A very comfortable and cosy holiday cottage.

Everything was as advertised. Very welcoming and comfortable. Fully equipped with essentials. A very efficient wood heater. Would suggest gathering kindling from around the property before it gets dark. Firewood and fire starters supplied.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting

Our hosts communicated clearly with us and prepared everything perfectly for us before we arrived. The cottage was an ideal retreat for a quiet weekend out of Melbourne, with a lovely sitting room, comfortable beds, and serenity in its setting.

I recommend this place, it's cosy, clean, warm and spacious, the surroundings are beautiful.

Everything was a true WONDERLAND. Everywhere is nature in its raw beauty, the cottage was Ace, warm and comfortable. My son and I self catered and there was everything we needed in the kitchen in the way of utensils, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery. One thing I loved is they provide Kitchen towel, and Kleenex! The water was HOT. The aircon heated the place sufficiently although there was a fire there to light we couldn't be bothered. To wake up in the morning to the birds singing and kangaroos right outside the bedroom window.

Okay, just one thing; the beds were too hard. both my son and I found them uncomfortable. I suggest comfort toppers just so one can snuggle in instead of laying on a hard plank. I'm sorry to say this as the sheets were lovely and crisp and the bed looked inviting but I have to say it was tough getting to sleep because the beds were so hard. However, others may not find them too hard.

Great location, lovely quiet place in the heart of Hall’s Gap. with lovely arwildlife at your door.

Beautiful location, friendly host great stay

A light was blown in the hall way above the stairs but came and fixed it, with a little of our assistance and it was fixed during our stay. There could have been more low ball glasses for oj and the whiskey at night but other than that, it was a perfect place to stay.

Our stay melted away the stresses of the city life and it was amazing!

During our stay it rained most of the time but our cottage was warm & cosy. We loved waking up to the laughter of the kookaburras.

Exceptional

Beautiful place and locale, central to everything in Halls Gap. The info booklets they had about the hikes were of great use. Easy check in and check out. Curious wildlife were at the doorstep every day. Hosts messaged and checked in us online every now and then which was thoughtful.

a must stay!

We stayed in the Acacia cottage and it was just gorgeous!! everything you need for if you want to stay in, and great floor plan. It was amazing being able to see animals from our cottages. the location is perfect, a 10 minute walk gets you into the town. the hosts were fantastic and put a lot of effort into providing lots of detail about hikes, restaurants, the property & anything else! we came with our one year old & they provided us with a high chair and offered a portacot too.

only thing we didn’t like, was that we didn’t stay long enough :D have already begun recommending the property! safe to say, we will be back!
