We enjoyed being able to walk drive to all our favorite Harbor Springs spots. Thanks for sharing the home with us!

We came up for a short stay and really enjoyed this location. Plenty of space to spread out inside, plus the big yard. Location was ideal - close enough to walk downtown, but still nice and quiet with a ton of trees. We would definitely stay here again!

I was concerned from listing that property looked dark. Previous review mentioned stained carpet. The condition of this property was appalling. Owner said he had addressed carpets and all had been steam cleaned. I don’t think so! Carpets were filthy! Myself, husband, son and daughter in law stayed here because we had a small well behaved dog with us. If I had had anywhere else to go with a dog, I would have left! Windows were dirty, dead bugs all over window sills, When I got to house, had to unload dishwasher, unload and fold laundry in dryer. When I took a shower, water wouldn’t drain from tub. Told owner who said housekeeper would be by to plunge drain. Plastic shower curtain liner was covered with mold. She came by 2 days later and replaced liner, but couldn’t take care of drain. My husband went and bought 2 bottles of Drano, which we used and then tub would drain. This property is not maintained at all and no thought is given to comfort of guest. The location is great for getting to downtown and all it has to offer. My concerns were expressed to owner who refunded $200. A week here was not cheap! Definitely unhappy, but did get to see grandchildren who were staying in town at house my son and his wife rented which was lovely.

The house needs a lot of love. The bathrooms were clean but the floors could have used some more cleaning and maybe sprayed for insects. My daughter had two spiders crawling on her in the upstairs double room. The carpet is stained. The furniture has holes....I mean some of the chairs had huge holes in the seat of them and were basically unusable. The kitchen was well stocked with what you would need on a vacation. I had read on previous reviews that it wasn't fancy but I was not expecting it to be so worn and with such stained carpets. The owner was responsive when I called and asked about the trash. He apologized about it and said it must have been the previous visitors. I picked it up so the next visitors wouldn't have to deal with it. I would have thought his cleaner would have cleaned it up. The location and size can't be beat but we will find another place the next time we visit Harbor Springs.

My family enjoyed the three nights at this large, clean and charming house. It's a great location to town, the iga, nubs nob and Good Hart Farms for an exceptional xc skiing excursion. The teens loved the game area and my husband and I loved the wood stove. Great memories were made!

Excellent location for access to local skiing. Only 10 minutes to Nubs Nob and Boyne Highlands, perfect for covid skiing, just drive home to warm up. Cozy, roomy place with an entry to leave boots and ski gear. Nothing fancy, but you will probably spend most of your time on the ski hill !

This was a last minute trip due to canceled plans for Florida trip. Fortunate to find something on such short notice. Really liked the board games and the nice walk to the waterfront.

If you are looking for fancy condo, this place is NOT for you. If you want a quirky, up north place with a fantastic location, lots of room, back yard with a fire pit, this spot has your name on it. A bit tatty with dim lighting, but this place really was perfect for our group of four adults. We cooked some great meals with local ingredients...if you are a cook, I would advise you to bring a chef’s knife (there is a knife block with lots of sharp knives but no chef knife). Gerry, the property manager was very helpful and responsive to any questions. We had an absolutely great week!

We were prepared for an older home and were looking forward to the charm this one presented in photos. Being a pet friendly home, we were also prepared to make some concessions. However, there were several things of concern. The carpeting was very stained, possibly from animals who had stayed there before. There was also a note on the counter to leave our garbage in the garage. When we took the garbage out the second day it was clear no one has been taking care of the property. There were at least a dozen garbage bags, some broken into with contents spewing out. Soap dispensers were empty, toilet paper was sparse. We went and purchased both our first day. We left two days early and weren't satisfied with the property.
