Pillows and mattresses are covered with zippered waterproof protectors which safeguard against dust mites, bedbugs, and fluids. They create no sound when in use. Collectively, they turn the neighborhood into a winter wonderland. It is the largest neighborhood light display in the United States. Take a drive or walk down Ridgeway Avenue, Madison Avenue, or any of the Sunset Hills streets between Friendly Avenue and Market Streets and enjoy the view. Be sure to take a few cans of non-perishables. The neighborhood collects cans for the Second Harvest Food Bank. Sunset Hills neighborhood also has tennis/pickleball courts and a playground.
