Disappointing
Convenient for the bus stops to get to the beach at Porto Racanati but you need to buy tickets in town before you travel. Probably a convenient location if you have a car as it's on the main road into or out of town.
The property photos did not seem to reflect the reality of the place. We found it rather neglected and dingy. The owner was kind enough to let us use her outdoor table as she was away, but if you did not have this facility, you would struggle to enjoy the outdoor space. There was a shed with a rather dirty BBQ and there was no hanging chair as shown in the post. The balcony outside the bedroom has no furniture or shade. The house was full of mosquitos. There were rather inefficient screens downstairs but without screens upstairs we had to keep the bedroom windows shut. It wasn't until we were packing to leave that we found a drawerful of mosquito coils etc. For anyone travelling to the accommodation without a car, be aware that the town is very hilly and it's a longish walk to the larger supermarket. The walk from the station though only 2.3km involves hundreds of steps up to the basilica and the taxi seemed quite expensive at 15E Be prepared to bring all essentials including washing up liquid and detergent for the washing machine, though there were four boxes of salt.

The house is as described
The location (although at the top of the hill), was a short walk down into town for eateries, ice cream and culture with a slower walk back up the hill! Direct parking outside for our car which was helpful as we had a lot of luggage. Although we didn't cook, the kitchen looked to have everything you would need including a coffee pod machine. We only stayed for 1 night while passing through and we were perfectly comfortable. The house is as described and Claudia who lives next door is a lovely host.
There is just 1 air conditioning unit for the whole house so we found the main bedroom was quite warm (for us) during the night. It would have been nice to have opened the windows but there are no mosquito nets on the windows (although we didn't actually see any mosquitos to be fair). Claudia did however provide us with a plug in mosquito machine if we had wanted to keep the windows open. This is not a criticism, it's just an observation.
