Best acommodation in Mandurah, close to cafes restuarants,beach and saw dolhins naturally every day!

At first we thought we could pick keys up from Dolphin Quays but had a 4 minute drive to pick them up no big deal. Reception was friendly and helpful.

Upon booking to be told that keys need to be picked up from Management team and not from Dolphin Quays.

There are no windows to open all are sliding doors which makes it unsafe to open at night when too hot to let the breeze through!

Overall good for our family stay but annoying faults for our $661 investment.

Spacious. Outlook. Facilities

Cockroachs in main bed and in our food containers. Poor performing air-conditioning. Single beds together claimed to be a queen. Advertised spa was a bath. Single glass window alongside front door allowed unwanted interior vision.

we had a beautiful and great stay at Del Mar 1

the location was right for us. it is in walking distance to everything. the eateries were great that were close by. having the sea life come down the canals morning and evening was a great joy.

we had creepy crawley little bugs that came up from the drain in the kitchen. I don't know if anyone came to sort these out. we showed the recepionist the dead ones in a tissue.

The location and views of the canal are pleasing, however, repairs are needed.

The views of the canals were lovely. We even saw dolphins swimming. The apartment was large with plenty of common areas. The kitchen had plenty of equipment and everything was clean.

Some of the appliances need replacing. The fridge is old and makes VERY loud rattling/restarting noises ALL day and ALL night! (Seriously loud, enough to disturb people trying to sleep) The TV is too old for these times. You can not access any streaming or sporting channels and this is a MUST ( and a minimum expectation) these days. Two of the down lights in the kitchen have fallen loose and are hanging from the ceiling. This is dangerous and unacceptable. The blinds in the bedroom at the street side of the apartment do not block out the view from the street. This is disturbing, you feel quite exposed and vulnerable when trying to change and the light from the street lights shine into the bedroom all night.

Noise fridge motor rattles when cutting out. 3 of 4 patio chairs were broken lots tiny cockroaches on the kitchen sink and surrounds every night.

Really loved the location and spacious unit.

Location was great

Two smaller bedrooms were stuffy, couldn’t open windows as blinds banged constantly. Ceiling fans or individual air conditioners would have been good. Fridge was noisy. Neither bedside light nor clock radio worked in second bedroom.

Great place to stay but could fix a couple of small problems to make it fantastic.

The location is great, easy to walk to restaurants, bars and water. Apartment was great in size also and another bonus having two parking bays, really handy when there is no street parking. Have booked to stay there again later in the year.

The first day one of the blinds fell off the wall, we did not get a replacement due to the long weekend so we had one large window/door open for all to see so not much privacy. The toaster tripped the safety switch so we had to get another toaster. For a self contained apartment you had no condiments such as salt & pepper. For a group of 6 adults you only had 6 rolls of toilet paper for 5 days, so once again had to go and ask for some. Again only 1 Fry Pan so hard to cook for 6!! Missing cushions on the outdoor furniture so a bit uncomfortable. Lastly the air-con unit is in a very dangerous place. You have the unit just outside the back door going onto the balcony. When the air-con is turned off a puddle of water is left behind and it is right in front of the door so this is an accident waiting to happen. Also when the air-con is on there is cold air blowing out of the unit and this is where you have the outdoor furniture so in cooler months it is cold to sit outside. The unit needs to be moved.

Disappointing

The place it self was nice.

No secure parking had valuables stolen from the car totalling up to $4000. no one seemed to care. Will not be returning.

Very easy and quick to check in.

That it rained, wasn’t able to use the balcony with the fabulous view. Will just have to come back in the summer season.
