About this cottage rental
Feel on holiday from the minute you walk in. Our 100 year old cottage on Ahuriri's foreshore, has been modernised within and styled to match it's seaside position while keeping it's historical face and feel. Comfortable and cosy, with french doors opening to the sea view with Spriggs Park playground, rock pools and beach directly in front. Enjoy the seaside village atmosphere as the yatch racing, watersports and cruise ship coming and going happens in your front yard and the waterfront cycleway passes by. All the facilities of a fully equipped house in a cottage sized package, with fenced back yard, for your use during your stay in Napier. Just a couple of minutes stroll to the 6 restaurants and many cafes and takeaway options available in the Ahuriri Village, along with Cinema and specialty shops or 5 mins drive to the waterfront bars on the edge of the marina. Napier CBD is a five minute drive away or catch the bus directly across the road. Welcome to our Art Deco City and Wine Country.

What a awesome little house, everything we needed for the 2 of us. Great location with lots of options for activities. We did think the house and location would also have suited our children if they stayed as well.

Great location. Short drive to downtown Napier and easy walk to restaurants, cafes, shops and pretty walks in Ahuriri. Cottage was well equipped and it was great having a washing machine. Street parking was good. Across the road from beach and playground. Good contact with host. Only negative was wifi was not very good which was a bit of a nuisance as we were trying to plan our trip.

What a beautiful spot with the cutest little whare ... I am seriously considering my 10 day holiday here ... it really was a home away from home handy to everything ... shops cafes restaurants supermarkets ... very clean

A lovely wee cottage beside the sea, suitable when holidaying with a 92 yr old family member. Great sized bedrooms & wonderful bathroom. Enjoyed hearing the waves at night & strolling along the beach front.

My husband and I stayed in this quaintly remodeled cottage for five nights in February. We especially enjoyed its location in Ahuriri as there were many fantastic dining options nearby. We also enjoyed the bay view and marine walkway across the street. Many thanks to the owner. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

This is one of the best places we’ve stayed in Napier, 11/10 for location, all the facilities we needed, plenty of space, good heating for overnight chilly weather. We will visit again.

We stayed for two nights while visiting family down in Napier. Very homely and easy access to a few cafe’s and restaurants. The beach is literally across the road which was great.

A lovely stay
What a gem of a cottage. I took my 91 year old mother and she sat at the doors and loved watching everyone in the park and the sea. It was beautifully warm on a cold weekend.

We switched to here after changing our mind about a holiday park and it was the best decision. The location had everything a holiday park offers plus the bonus of a private place to stay. Perfect for our kids being right opposite the playground, beach, bike path. Cottage was lovely. Comfy beds, all the equipment we needed and we really appreciated the washing machine. Nice shops in Ahuriri village but note the Four Square is sooo expensive so be sure to stock up on groceries before you arrive. We are already talking about staying again but definitely for a couple more nights.
