Perfect location, great apartment and very helpful people

There are several apartments; we were "superior two bedroom apartment" on the 4th floor and also used the sofa bed, so five of us stayed. Great layout of apartment and amazing view down onto the street.

Nothing to improve - it was pefect for us. A little, just a little, street noise until about midnight or just after - but this is Madrid in August!

Good value, really spacious and very comfortable beds!!!

I loved the apartment , very comfortable beds!!! Shower poeer was weak. I was expecting a different living room. There are a few, make sure you understand which one snd match the pics

I would have loved a kitchen with basic stuff, like sugar and salt… The bench in the terrace was broken. The kitchen counter was damaged. The elevator is tiny and shaky.

Nice location, overall nice place with some caveats.

1. The balcony has great views and is big enough for a 4 person meal. 2. The living room is comfortable and the mezzanine as well. 3. The AC works great for Madrid weather 4. The owners are extremely nice and with great talking points to what to do around Madrid

1. Water heater didn’t work properly, it changed from extremely hot to extremely cold mid-bath, making it quite uncomfortable. We asked the super about this and she said they didn’t plan on fixing it. 2. The floor is not even, to get from the kitchen to the dining/living room you have to go down a small step and go up another large one. This makes it very difficult to access at night or without turning on all the lights.

Superb

The apartment has one bedroom and a very large living room with a gallery floor. The location is excellent right in the center of everything in the best part of the city. We were with a baby and had a great time. There is magic in an ancient building and an apartment with a high wooden ceiling. Despite the central location, in the apartment was quiet

Worth it and would stay again.

There was no breakfast but a kitchen where we were able to prepare our own food that worked out great!

I didn’t like that there wasn’t enough toiletries and cleaning supplies considering how long we were all staying.

Central location, good communication and pleasant apartment - we enjoyed our stay.

Great location and Rafael and Patricia were exceptional in terms of their communication. The apartment is big and bright, we felt very comfortable.

There could maybe be some basic cooking supplies like oil/ salt especially for people with longer stays as it seems wasteful to buy a whole bag or bottle to be able to cook.

My husband and I stayed in this three bedroom, two bathroom apartment. It was on a pedestrian only Street across from se

we loved the location. It was centrally located and we could walk everywhere. We did get a taxi from the train station. we were on the 4th floor so having a small but reliable elevator was a plus. Patricia met us at the apartment and gave us great tips. She also called a cab for us a few times since we didn’t trust our Spanish.

there was some nighttime noise but if you want something centrally located that is always going to be a risk.

Excelent location, near Plaza Mayor and Mercado San Miguel. No need to take the subway to reach main attractions. Large apartment even for two couples. I like the old lavatory, a decorative piece of furniture...

everything is amazing

the landlord is the best, very friendly, informative, kind and the communication is incredible. the host is one of the reasons we will be renting this apartment again. the location is amazing, right next to Plaza mayor with plenty of restaurants and bars in the same street. apartment was spotless when we arrived, had everything we needed ( clean towels, extra pillows as requested, washing machine, and full equipped kitchen). the terrace had an amazing view. the apartment is quiet and you won’t hear the noise from the street. it’s also very spacious, and well designed.

Exceptional

It was an excellent stay! Perfect location close to almost everything, very charming apartment with a nice terrace where you can just enjoy the evenings over the roofs of Madrid. Nice interior of the authentic old, but well-kept apartment. And I wanted to mention the staff on a separate note - you don't see them, but they are there for you and organize everything very quickly. Once our friends forgot the key in the apartment, next day we had to print out the PCR tests - all done within several minutes! They also organized the taxi for us. Overall great stay. I want to come back :)

Some kitchen/washing equipment is not the newest anymore, but it wasn't a big issue.

Perfect location. Charming Apartment. No Wifi. Poor interaction w/ staff. Noisy.

CAVEAT - this company owns 16 apartments in the building. My review is only associated w/ the unit we stayed in. Take that as you will... The apartment was spacious, clean, and charming. The location was nearly perfect. I mean that. If the negative issues below are things that won't bother you, then you can set your expectations and you will have a great stay.

No wifi. At first I politely reported this and voiced my frustration that we still had no wifi after the second day. I need to get some work done, and was careful to select a place that would provide wifi, as this place does. I was informed that the wifi (and I quote) "is a free service so they are are not responsible if it actually works". I stated that since they claim that wifi is available as part of what you can expect on your stay, that does, in fact, make them responsible for the service. I was then told that the wifi is working and it is just me not being able to connect. This patently false. Not that we have to get into my resume, but I have extensive IT experience. Locating and connecting to a working wifi network is about has challenging as tying my shoes. Ultimately, I was disappointed in the attitude of the person who would rather take the position that "its not their problem, since its free" or "maybe you're doing it wrong", rather than claim responsibility. Noise - we were in apt 2-2. You can hear everything from the street at night, and its a busy street with a lot of noise. Admittedly, we are not bothered by that at all. Oddly, I kind of like it and the sense of the life of the city and the energy... but, I know that this can bother some, and anyone looking at reviews should be aware that you're in the thick of it. If you're like me, you'll like that. If you're a light sleeper, beware.

Great Stay

Lovely welcoming staff, great cafe opposite, central location near Plaza Mayor. Apartment very clean, with good facilities 2 double ensuite bedrooms, would highly recommend.
