Loved the location. Loved the outdoor area. It was very comfortable.

The only thing we didn't like was the tv setup. We couldn't get any channels to work and the dvd player was poor. It wouldn't have bothered us at all normally, but it rained for 90% of our stay and having our 3yo grandson stuck inside meant we had to rely on the tv a little. We plan to take our chromecast next time as we're keen to stay there again

We had a boat so the convenience of being on the canals with a private jetty was great. The house was quite comfortable with a nice pergola overlooking the waterway.

The bathroom was a little tired with only a single towel rail. The single bathroom and toilet might be an issue with a house full of people (more than 4).

Clean house in a good location with a very nice backyard view

- Second bathroom outside with no shelter when raining - BBQ area does not have shelter so we cannot use it due to rain - No linen and towels provided and was not specified on booking.com - Only one old door mat inside which was very inconvenient when raining - Too much additional admin to go throu.gh and additional costs - Bond is taken out from credit card with credit card fee even though this was not specified. Usually the bond is help but not taken out. - Need to provide bank details for bond to be added back and takes 7-14 days just to do this. You lose the credit card fee. - Despite $200 bond being taken out, you still need to supply your credit card for $500 holding bond. - You have a contract with LJ and Hooker to abide by the rules - need to leave place the way you got it which means you need to do a full clean. I'm guessing they don't service the place to save costs so it's not good value after all. - Property manager asks you to send a copy of your credit card which is very unsafe. - Need to bring your own oil, salt, sugar etc. which is a hassle, other places from air bnb provide this. - With all the cleaning you need to do, byo linen, towels, admin stuff, it doesn't feel like you're on a holiday - After this experience with booking.com, I will not book from here again
