Soggiorno tranquillo in posizione servitissima e comoda per raggiungere le attrazioni principali

Situato letteralmente all'uscita della stazione metro di Xinnanmen. Il palazzo in sé ha lavori in corso, ma appena si arriva al piano dell'ostello ci si trova in un bell'ambiente. La nostra stanza era ampia, con doccia separata. Lo staff è molto gentile e disponibile (ci ha prenotato senza problemi i biglietti di ingresso alla riserva dei panda, fattibile solo con numero cinese) e pronto a cercare di rispondere alle domande sulle zone turistiche

Unica nota per i viaggiatori che non sanno il cinese: solo una ragazza dello staff parlava bene l'inglese (però troverete la stessa situazione in tutta la città, quindi mettetelo in conto)

Great hostel! Great Staff!

The staff were great, really helpful and all spoke English. The room was comfortable and towels were changed every day. We had shower gel, shampoo, a hairdryer, and a TV. The beds were quite comfortable. There is a pool table in the hostel and a little chill out room. They helped us organise trips and gave great suggestions of where to go in the city. The peoples park and the wide and narrow alleys were 2 of my favourite places, and Anshun bridge at night is stunning, there's lots of bars around here so seems to be where the nightlife is. There's a metro stop right in front of the hostel, although we mostly got taxis through didi app because they're so cheap. If you're looking for good hotpot, I can recommend Jincheng impression hotpot. It was delicious! A special thanks to May who was really helpful and organised our trip to Dujiangyan irrigation and Qingcheng mountain. It was beautiful and a really nice day out. We went through the Huanglongxi Ancient Town which was so nice and worth a visit. My favourite trip was the pandas and leshan buddha.

There's nothing I can say I didn't like.

Great value of money

Location is the best is located right in front of xinnamen station exit D. All of the staff are extremely helpful and nice. Some of them speak English very well, some arent but they are will to help. Around hotel has plenty of food stalls, convenient stores from early morning to late night.

The entrace of the hotel looks a little scary and reek of cigarette but inside hotel is fine.

Lovely Place to Stay close to a metro and tourist bus

So much to like! Most importantly, the location was great! Close to a metro, 3-5 minute walk to the tourist bus station we used to get to Kangding for our Gongga trek, as well as Emeishan. There are a lot of food options around, with a thriving little community. We ate at a small local restaurant a few times and loved it. Also, the street food was good. The place itself was nice. The lobby has a hostel feel with books, a guitar, an ukulele as well. Easy check in and payment with either cash or QR code (wexing). There's a laundry place which cost 7 Kwai a load. Finally, no kitchen, but a microwave on premises. The room had two bottles of drinking water, candies, towels, mosquito coils, water boiler, room slippers, toothbrush, and plenty of outlets to charge your stuff!

The bed was really stiff, like it needed to be changed. I woke up with back pains. The place itself while well maintained, is a bit dated. It was hard to find. Since I can't use Google, it was hard for my Cab to find where to drop me off. It's located right next to the metro entrance!

Good location, staff at reception were helpful

I had made contact with the hostel prior to our stay to arrange trips etc and ask questions but recieved no reply meaning that when we arrived these were not possible and we had to make our own way. 'Roof garden' is definitely an exaggeration 🤣

Cute and cozy

Loved the vibe, the chic shared spaces, the cute little room, and the friendly staff. The garden, books, and living area was lovely. More chairs and little tables on the roof garden would be great.

The reception forgot to charge me upon arrival (I assumed I had paid online) and therefore banged on my door after midnight, awakening me (and also frightening me a bit, to be honest).

It was great place, really good value for the money, lovely staff who even spoke English.

Great for the metro stop, literally outside the door. The staff was absolutely fabulous, they went out of their way to help us with luggage storage, receiving a package, and helping us find a hospital for a Covid test.

Beds were quite hard (by foreigners' standards). Elevator was a little slow and always busy.

Exceptional

The staff is amazing. They can all speak English and the cleaning staff is also very good and friendly. The receptionist also helped me with so earings such as getting the covid test and helping with my deliveries. The room was very comfortable and I will return anytime.

The location was great very good , close to the university area .Very easy to see the city from this location and visit the pandas. Staff are very professional and some hotels could probably learn from them ,cleaning staff also very attentive

Probably the only thing was the bad smell on the ground floor of the building when getting into the elevator but this is not part of the hostel so beyond there control.

Great hostel, would stay again.

The location was really great, right next to a metro station and also very close to the river and music area with lots of nice bars. The room was a good size, nicely decorated and clean and the staff were lovely and very helpful. I told them it was my boyfriend’s birthday and they made so much effort which was really sweet.

The bed was pretty hard.

Poshpacker: Living a poshy lifestyle with a tight pocket with comfort

I love how close the property is to the metro station, literally just beside exit D of the XinNanMen Station! There are earious of eateries around, ranging from cheap to absolutely gastronomical deals. The river is nearby and hence taking an evening run or stroll to burn off the excess calories from the amazing food Chengdu has to offer is a plus. Besides, it is on the same line as the Panda base!

The walls were quite thin and you can literally hear people chatting away outside. If you are a light sleeper then you might not enjoy it as the conversation sometimes take place past midnight but all quiets down about 1am.

Great stay

Great location right next to a subway station. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Rooms were clean and well looked after.

The address on booking.com takes you to the wrong place (but very close). Solved easily by adding on WeChat and they sent me the location.

Great place for solo travelers in Chendgu

Amazing staff and customer service. They looked after my luggage in the room and personal things in their desk, and as soon as I arrived late night, they returned it back to how it was as normal. Fantastic service. Would visit again.

The location was hard to find as shown on the map. It was incorrect at the wrong exit. I spent 20 minutes finding the location while being hassled by random people for taxi. It was ridiculous. I hope they update the location for other travellers (those who cannot speak Chinese or cannot read detailed maps) to find the location very well.

Easy going, clean, no frills, inexpensive. Great place for travelers. Upgrade if going for holiday.

The location is very close to the metro making transportation easy. The staff was very friendly and helpful answering questions quickly on wechat. They provide you with towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, tea, kettle, and mugs.

The mattresses can only be described as hard. They need to invest in some mattress toppers. It also would be nice if staff could wipe down counter tops and change out the mugs throughout our stay.
