Located in Morganton, this charming condo for £120 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Know before you book- our cooktop is temporarily out of order, we have a part ordered, but not shipped. Ask before you book if it is a priority. Oven works. Sorry! We've Lower Rates, So Book Your Excursion! Our modern, but charming, 1BR/1BA studio loft is located on the 2nd level of the building and looks over nearby restaurants and shops. The building has undergone a total renovation in 2019 to offer all the newest conveniences and modern comforts, while remaining true to the 1900's charm of the stucture. The original building was a Drug Store and the tile on the lower level entry facing W. Union St. still remains today. Suite 201 offers a fully equipped kitchen, large sitting area with distant mountain views, large bath with walk in shower, and comfy king bed. Large windows let in lots of natural light, original wood floors, and exposed brick were retained in the renovation process. The loft is also home to art, commissioned by local Folk Artist Charlie Frye of Folk Keeper Gallery, specific to Burke County Landmarks. The unit has cental heat and air, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker, blender, toaster and microwave. All linens are supplied as well as toiletries, hair dryer, and clothing iron. Easy parking located behind the unit where there is private lighted entry. Parking directions can be given. Each guest will be given entry door codes to access the unit during their stay. Enjoy a day exploring Downtown Morganton or venture out to near by Lake James and hike the Fonta Flora Trail or Linville Gorge. Ask the owner about the many fun things to do and see while in Historic Morganton. The Burke County Tourism Office is just a block away.

Needed a comfortable place to stay for me and my wife while visiting family in town over the holidays. The apartment is so comfortable - especially the bed. The location made for convenient walking to the square and shops. The space was a nice oasis with all the creature comforts. Will definitely be renting again for future visits.

In town visiting family. Location was great! Convenient for walking to the movies or restaurants. The Christmas lightts on the streets were an added bonus. Loft is a great mix of historical, industrial and contemporary. Very spacious and comfortable!

We had a great stay at the Drugstore Lofts! The apartment was clean and beautiful! Morganton was centrally located to Hickory, Asheville, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We enjoyed a Friday night concert in Morganton’s central square. We will definitely stay again!

My husband I stayed here after our wedding for one night before our honeymoon. The property was very clean and the room was very comfortable and nicely furnished. Great location in downtown Morganton. Would highly recommend this property!

Just a few days… assistance at check in and customer service with the internet issue was really perfect. Make sure there is a good kitchen sponge available for dishes. Please kill that BIG SPIDER over the sink 😀. Really nice - hope to stay there again…

The loft was in a perfect location downtown and made it easy to walk to the breweries and restaurants (and the TGIF concert at the courthouse!!) We visit Morganton several times a year and will definitely book here again!

The property was exactly what we were looking for! A great location right in the middle of town just a 1–2-minute walk to some great restaurants and more. the space was very clean, well-appointed and confutable. We would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Nice studio apartment. Right downtown by restaurants and shops. Parking and entry in rear. Only issue was need to bring your own coffee machine as there was only a hard to work Kerrigan with almost no coffee.

I felt like I’d walked into a restoration hardware catalog. Very unique property , attention to details inside excellent. Well equipped in every way. Only negative is entrance area a bit run down, garbage totes steps from entry stairs. Smart key into unit a bit finicky, but in the end worked. (One other note: no cable/satellite as stated in description, means no “regular “ TV unless you have streaming account.)

The process was easy. The building was historical and had nice local paintings decorating the hall and apartment. The apartment had most everything you would need - fridge, Keurig, oven and stove. I had no contact with the owner in person and she has a good system for check in and out. There was another tenant in the apartment across the lobby but we didn't see each other much. The floor in the hall is old so you do hear the other tenant coming and going but it was minimal. It was a great experience.

I was in town for a half marathon and wanted a place to relax where I could walk around downtown. This loft was so beautiful, well appointed, and comfortable! I will def stay again. I had a little trouble getting into the unit (user error - the instructions were perfect), and management got back to me asap and checked in on me later. Absolutely lovely trip!

Was comfortable, well-decorated/chic, clean, great location. Would stay again. It was a little expensive once additional fees/insurance are added (which is more noticeable on a two night stay vs. a longer stay with fees averaging out to less per night) for a smaller property with no porch/outdoor space, but I realize prices are higher across the board these days and this comment applies to VRBO rentals in general, not just to this property.
