AlUla is very remote and very quirky. Most accommodation is very far from town in an undesirable area that is horrible. Viola is in a quiet area right near town - walking distance to grocery store is key. The owner Ali is kind and picked me up at the airport as well as when I was stranded and couldn’t get a taxi. Shereen is lovely and always wants to help. The hotel is quirky - like all in AlUla - but that’s a good thing. The beds are comfy, the AC works well, and the shower is hot with great pressure. This is a great place to be based in AlUla. There id also access to rooms with a kitchen.

Location was good, easy to get to the old town. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. I would use again when next in the area.

Lovely hotel, close to everything. Shireen was so accommodating and lovely. Rooms were clean, had a fridge and coffee.

I went to Alula to run the Eco trail and i was looking for a place to stay because i had rented a car and i was more free to chose. I read a coment of a friend Tanja and i decides to make the reservation. Before arriving they ask all my questions in the moment and i understant that they should be very kind. When i arrive they were so, but so kind that make me feel so at home, specialy because i was a women traveling alone!!. They bring me a lot of water to drink, a machine to boile de water for the food, everything! The room was perfect, had everything, space, the bad was perfect because i really sleep well before the race. They had coffe , tea, sugar, chocolats!!! Is very well localizated with acess to the best places. They were such attention that i miss them already ! I Deeply recomend the place if you want to feel home in Al Ula! Carla André

The location, the room size and condition

I was the first time in Saudi Arabia and also the first time in Al’ULa. I was in Al’Ula to start at the first international trail run in the desert. The accommodation was perfect - also for me as a woman traveling alone. Everything is new and clean. Fresh bed linen, clean towels, water, tea and coffee are available and Ali warmly welcomes you to the airport. Ali is a wonderful host. He is there for everything when you have questions and helps where he can. I was taken and picked up everywhere, even at the very early start at 5 am it was not a problem. I learned a lot about the history of this historic place in Saudi Arabia and felt like part of the family. Everything was taken care of - for my food and everything else and I felt super comfortable and at home It is a perfect accommodation to visit the wonderful landscapes and historical places in Al'ULa and it is also nearly "Winter at Tantora". Supermarket and restaurants are easy to reach. I can absolutely recommend this property. It was a unique experience - thank you for that. I will definitely come back.
