Cozy 3 bedroom home with all the comforts, in a central location to reach easily and quickly all the most attractive places of the city. A lovely space to unwind and relax after a busy day whether it is for work or play. Have a glass of complementary wine while enjoying Netflix on the comfortable oversized down feather-filled leather sofa after work hours, or exploring local culture. Pull down the shutters after a restful night’s sleep in 14 inch memory foam king beds (2) and let light flood into your room. Awake refreshed and ready for a day exploring the city via this clean, sunny home in one of Bakersfield’s original neighborhoods. Wonderful coffee shops and restaurants nearby. All kitchen items needed for cooking are provided, as well as your essential bed and bath amenities. Also have a office for guest who are looking for a place to work form.

Was in town for celebration of life and perfect to get together and visit with my family who lives close

Martha is such an amazing host. She stayed in constant communication with me and my wife. The place was extremely clean. The beds were comfortable and the bath towels were perfect. We didn’t get a chance to try out the pool because it was winter. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that every time we are in Bakersfield this is our go to location. Verbo is much better than AirBnb! The communication and speedy booking time was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks again Martha!!!

Amazing Stay
Martha is such an amazing host. She stayed in constant communication with me and my wife. The place was extremely clean. The beds were comfortable and the bath towels were perfect. Family Celebration
We stayed here while in town to celebrate a 95th birthday. The location was ideal and very spacious, giving us lots of options for sitting around and catching up.

Enjoyed our stay, clean house, nice neighborhood. Only disappointment was the hot tub didn’t work and we didn’t know until we were there. Other than that I would love to go again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was very clean, and the furnishings were comfortable. The only disappointing thing was that the hot tub was not heated, which we didn't know until the day before our trip.

Nice Little Getaway
We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was very clean, and the furnishings were comfortable. The only disappointing thing was that the hot tub was not heated, which we didn't know until the day before our trip.

A relaxing and classy retreat
It was hard to leave.
Martha and her team have everything dialed in. The pool temp and AC temp in the house were perfect - refreshing but no too extreme. Very neat house with modern, comfy furniture. Kitchen was fun to cook in.
Martha was super responsive and had a local runner bring us a few things we needed.
The zero-gravity lounge chairs by the pool were awesome. Also, we loved the diving board which is higher than the usual diving board and uncharacteristically springy. Plenty of privacy and some nice palms in the back yard too to calm the spirit.
The tempurpedic beds were dreamy and no one heard anyone else snoring. :)
Our teens loved having the master suite right off the hot tub. It was great to be able to give them their own space. The hall bathroom was plenty big for the rest of us.
Oh, and the blankets were plentiful and snuggly. They seem to be everywhere you need them.
