I arrived to Dubai travelling from Australia to find out that this Apartment is NOT in Dubai Healthcare city. It is in an Al Jadaf area 6.2 km away from advertised location. The advertised location is actually Mohammed bin Rashid Medical School. I stayed one night in the apartment because I had no where else to go. The apartment is actually near a busy Motorway and so noisy and have a smell in it, the furniture is stained and run down. I contacted William the manager saying that this is not the advertised location and asked for a refund. He said “ Your booking is Non refundable boss”. I have explained it is non refundable if it was in the advertised location but it wasn’t and that this is not the location I have paid for. He completely ignored my texts. I had to leave next day and I paid for anther hotel in healthcare city where I need to be. The Security guard said that this has happened to other travellers. They put you in a vulnerable position as traveller and expect you to accept it when they mis sell you this apartment, complete scam! Booking.com contacted him and he refused to do a refund. I have to say Booking.com support and empathy in this situation was second to none and they kindly given me back the refund after I have provided them with all the evidence. Thank you Booking.com!
