La piscine pour ce détendre au top
J’ai du mal avec les matelas des hôtels et les couettes bien épaisses

Heerlijk zwembad
Mooie locatie
Prachtige ouderwetse kamers ( 150 jaar oud )
Goede ontvangst door de eigenares
Enkel het ontbijt was wat karig . 1/2 Frans brood was wat weinig . Maar voor de rest wel oké

So pleased to be able to return to this wonderful hotel. The room was amazing and spacious and the location is perfect. The children loved the pool and we can't wait to return again next year!

Location excellent, easy walk to main square and historic quarter. Easy to find. Good choice of restaurants close by. Room was beautifully furnished and the cleanliness was first class. Towels and toiletries were excellent.
No air-con in room, so necessary to open windows at night, therefore making the room very noisy. Very strict check-in time, no one around if you arrive earlier than designated time. Really tiny car parking area so some re-positioning of cars required.

Our hostess was delightful and our room equally so! Spacious and beautifully decorated, we felt very comfortable and relaxed during our stay. The swimming pool in the cellar added a surprising touch of glamour. The hotel is situated close to the historic old city in a quiet street.

First of all this is more of a family ran boutique hotel than anything else, so if you don't like to get close and personal with people who run it just go somewhere else - I really love the personal touches and contact, so for me that is no problem. It is also a very, very nice place with tastefully decorated rooms and interior (very instagramable). There is a swimming pool, a lovely inner courtyard and our room had plenty of light with massive windows also in the bathroom and a huge walk-in shower. The 'staff' (or family that runs it) are really attentive, nice and helpful and nothing is a problem or too much to ask. Client service was the most perfect you can imagine. I really enjoyed my stay even if there are some things that could be done better.
The french don't really do breakfast and so the choice is somewhat limited and after three days it gets slightly boring, having said that it was nice to converse with the owner over the scrambled eggs she was making us. The top thing to improve however is the soundproofing of the rooms. The hotel is made out a converted apartment building and our room was where the servants entrance was, so it was neighboring another room, which was probably at some point the main part of the apartment. Unfortunately I could hear absolutely everything that was going on next door - separated only by a flimsy door with cotton stuck into the keyhole - including someone beeing really sick at 6:00 am in the morning. Not ideal.

fantastic location, parking outside the front door pre-booked.
10th wedding anniversary, so the use of the gorgeous pool and a couples massage at the hotel was amazing.
The entrance at Christmas was delightfully festive.
Our room was nicely furnished, warm, clean and quiet even when outside France won against England and the french love their horns.
The added bonus of wifi and Netflix in the rooms and a lift made all the difference.
With all the above, topped off with a delicious breakfast cooked by the host Cecile who was warm and welcoming and spoke fluent English, we could have asked for more.
oh yes we could, Cecile accepted our little dog into her hotel too. Thankyou, would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning.
Merry Christmas
