This comfortable 3 BR, 2 full Bathrooms mountain cabin is ideal for your family getaway or a special retreat with friends. Master bedroom with king bed. Queen beds in other two bedrooms. Enjoy the mountains on a huge porch that wraps around half the house with tables, swings, and rockers to accommodate friends and family. This area is gated so we can also accommodate your pet! The kitchen is all new, large and modern with a farm house table that seats eight. More dining areas on the porch. This cabin is nestled in a private mountain cove, but very close to Highway 28 with easy access for motorcycles or trailers We have a large parking area and circle driveway around rear of house for ease of unloading and loading. Covered parking in paved barn for trailers, motorcycles or your personal vehicle. Left side of the barn has fans and lights over the picnic tables. The house has Whole Home Backup Power and home phone service with WIFI! Amenities include: Full laundry room, dishwasher, full size refrigerator, microwave, stove, TV, and gas heat, and wood stove fireplace. If you are seeking biking, boating, fishing, scenic driving, nature, motorcycling, whitewater rafting, zip lines or just a quiet, restful vacation, this is the place for you. Key lock box (to gain entry to the home) is located on the front deck or by the back door at the rear of house. Just 10 minutes to Fontana Lake, 20 minutes from "Tail of the Dragon", 20 minutes from whitewater and zip lines. Short drive to Cherokee and Bryson City for Casino, rail, and other attractions. Proximity allows for short day trips to Cades Cove, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and Smoky Mountain National Park! Cherohala Skyway 25 minutes from Cabin, Nantahala Gorge, Maggie Valley and much more to see. Book early to ensure a great time in our Smoky Mountains.

My family and I stayed here a few days. The property is very welcoming and has a lot of cool features. I brought my Porsche for the Rennsport rally and it made it up the gravel driveway without any issues. The barn was very cool.

We really enjoyed our stay here. I have tried to think of anything that was not right on par, and the only thing I can think of that might matter to someone else was the distance to town. It isn't far, but it is still about a 30-minute drive due to the many curves and current road construction. However, this didn't bother us since we wanted privacy and seclusion. Just know in advance and enjoy the awesome views, especially around Stecoah Gap.
The home was beautiful, immaculate, and very comfortable. While we did not cook much, if we had wanted to, every possibly needed kitchen tool was available. Yes, we would definitely stay here again!

Very nice, comfortable and clean cabin with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Perfect location for enjoying the twisty roads in NC. Loved the large patio. Great fire pit as well. This cabin had everything we needed and then some. We would stay at this cabin again when we return to the area. Host was very responsive to all our questions before we arrived and during our stay. I received responses to all questions within minutes of asking. Highly recommend!

House was great, loved it's rustic nature. Very well appointed, had everything we needed. Very much appreciated the large parking area and barn for keeping the truck/trailer/bikes out of the weather. Would definitely stay there again. We could spend a month in the area riding all of the awesome roads and never ride the same one twice.

Property was perfect. Location was very quiet and we watched birds, deer and rabbits. Close to Fontana Dam and Tail of the Dragon. Huge barn to park. Cabin is well furnished with all you need. Loved it and hope to stay here again

We had a wonderful long weekend here with our 2 vizslas! Such an easy check in & check out process & a BEAUTIFUL property. We really enjoyed drinking coffee on the wrap around porch & just listening to the silence around us. Easy access to the Dragon & the Cherohala Skyway was a big plus to thoroughly enjoy the twisty mountain roads in our zippy mod-ed GTI! The home itself was perfect- definitely the best kitchen we’ve utilized at many VRBOs over the years. It rained a little during our stay, but there was plenty to do. We reignited a joy in doing jigsaw puzzles that were provided here. We would love to come back and stay again in the future! 10/10 would recommend!

We very much enjoyed staying at this cabin. Check in was a breeze. The cabin was clean and well stocked. It rained almost the whole time we stayed but there was plenty of room for 5 adults and 3 dogs to kick back and relax. The dogs especially loved the covered deck. We did a rock hunt set up by a previous guest but could only find 5 of the 7 rocks! My only issue was the bed in the Moose room was uncomfortable but that may have to do with my arthritis more than anything else. Check out was simple and didn’t require more than reasonably expected.

This is our second time staying in this lovely cabin and the second time truly was the charm(again.) This cabin comes with everything a visitor to the beautiful mountains could want. We were thrilled with how quick the water heated up in both bathrooms, especially the one upstairs. In addition the water pressure was amazing.
There is a fully stocked kitchen, and although we both agreed that if we were going to be doing any heavy duty cooking, we would want to bring our own pans (the ones in the cabin have been well loved) the ones that were there were perfect for our limited needs. I especially liked the full set of red dishes provided for use.
We brought a box of fireplace logs to use in the wood burning fireplace. It was enjoyable to have a fire available. Do not worry if you are a fireplace novice. There are detailed instructions on how to use it available at check in and in the cabin itself. The beds were so soft and comfortable, and the bedding felt wonderful to collapse in after a long day of traveling around the area seeing the sights.
Dane was super responsive to any questions we had. Not that there will be much need to check in as there are very detailed instructions throughout the cabin.
This is definitely our go-to stop when we are in the Robbinsville area. We are never disappointed and you won't be either.

Everything said about this place in VRBO was correct. It is a very nice place and very clean. The only down fall is that there is nothing around the place. There is only Robbinsville and that’s not much to talk about. You have to drive a long way to be anywhere. But for bikers it’s in a perfect location. It is a very nice cabin, and we did have a great time there, but we were there to ride motorcycles not to shop.

The cabin is perfect for families or friends. It has ample room with all the essentials both indoors and out. Clean and located a short drive to food and recreation..yet remote enough to watch hummingbirds and listen to sounds of nature. Bonus that they allow pets..our 2 dogs live the porch.. This was a return visit for our family and will definitely plan to stay again next year.

The cabin was clean and inviting. We loved sitting on the deck in the morning, having breakfast and watching the hummingbird. We were able to adjusting the temperature in the cabin for our comfort. Since we're over 65 (at least), we found getting up and down the stairs a challenge, which might be something that could be included in the description.

We chose this house because it was close to Fontana village for miatas at the gap. This home was awesome. It was very clean and well maintained. The large wrap around porch was a great place to enjoy your morning coffee and relaxing in the evening. We look forward to staying there again.

2022 Bike Trip
This place was amazing. The location was perfect for riding motorcycles in the Smoky Mountains. House is located just off the Moonshiner 28. The house was amazing. Clean, comfortable, and all the amenities you could ask for. The Barn was very nice and a great place to keep the bikes out of the rain. This place had many things to use and do on the property. Will definitely come back and stay again.

This place exceeded expectations
This was a great stay. The house is in very good shape and has everything you might need. The outside space is just as nice as the house. There is a huge porch with nice seating for relaxing or dining, lots of parking and a party barn with covered vehicle parking. This would be a great place for 3 couples or family to get away.

Double Anniversary Vacay
Very clean well kept cabin with unexpected extras of a partial stocked kitchen and weather forecaster. Enjoyed stakes on the propane grill & a campfire. Quality sheets on a very comfortable king bed! Will return with in-laws for our annual Campgivings that may have to be renamed Cabingivings! Thank you for your hospitality!

We found this property after searching several areas in the NC mountains. It was perfect for our family. We truly had the best time and enjoyed our Christmas stay. The cabin is beautiful and well-stocked with all kitchen necessities. The cabin is located in a great location. It is about a two-hour drive to Pigeon Forge which makes for a great day trip and plenty of sight-seeing along the way. We highly recommend driving to Bryson City and checking out the Road to Nowhere. There is also the Three Dam trip which loops around and takes you to Fontana Dam, Cheoah Dam, and the Santeetlah Dam. Our family really enjoyed this trip. There were a lot of places to stop for pictures. We really cannot say enough good things about the cabin and our stay. It was perfect. The owner stayed in touch and made sure everything was going well. My kids loved the barn cat. It was hard to leave to come back home. We hope to be able to stay again. Highly recommend this cabin to escape the hecticness of life.

Property was clean and well furnished. Could tell it is an older property in need of a bit of love and care. Water was an issue all weekend. By check out on Sunday there was no water in the upstairs bathroom. Poor water pressure everywhere.
