Didn’t like the fact the room didn’t have a lock on the door- I think I’d have felt a little more vulnerable if I was on my own.

The rooms were very clean and it was close to the railway station, cafes and Kew gardens- which I highly recommend.

To be honest, I thought it was a mini motel when I booked online. The ad was rather misleading. So, flying in from Australia, I needed a place with milk in the room for a coffee, as I was exhausted on arrival and didn't have the energy to go shopping. The room was in a family home, and this is ok for locals, but a newbie to London needs a motel with the added conveniences. The heating was not put on one night and it was very cold! There was no lock on the door of the room I slept in.

The owners were very kind and helped us with everything we needed. But at the same time you didn't even notice they were there. The room was super clean and the bathroom as well. The took the shared bathroom option. However, we just shared with another person and we never saw this lady or guy. Finally, the area was also wonderful and very well communicated.

Location was in a neighborhood that was also close to neighborhood shopping. It was also close to the train station and bus stop. Paul is a very gracious host and eager to answer any questions. I would not hesitate to recommend this property.
