This cute, well located 1970's Spanish style open plan, fully fenced corner batch has provided many happy family moments for the owners and they are now making it available for others to share. Situated directly across the road from the main public access to Kapiti's best and most swimming friendly beach in the exclusive old beach area of Waikanae. Walking distance to cafe's and restaurants (One Minute to closest), the boat club, beach launch and bus stops. Features include: *Heat Pump *Washing Machine *Dryer *Large deck Space with Indoor outdoor flow. *Outdoor furniture & *Bar-B-Q^ * TV *Fully Fenced House Rules: No parties No smoking inside (Property must be left as it was when you arrived i.e clean) Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: A) Clean property to the state it was in when you arrived This means vacuuming etc A cleaning fee will be charged otherwise B) Bring your own linen (towels/sheets & pillowcases) Extras: Cleaning (Optional, NZ$40 per hour) Please advise before your stay so we can arrange. NB: Cleaning will be charged back at actual cost.

Nice for family getaway. Older place and a bit damp but price reflects that compared to others in the area. Great location for family close to beach and a great Thai restaurant. Would stay again.

Our second time staying here, this bach has been a perfect home away from when exploring the wider area.
Clean and tidy with everything we could need.
Right next to the beach, a couple of minutes walk to playgrounds for the kids.
We will be back again ☺

Nice hidden gem, unfortunately the place was filthy and we have since been charged an emergency cleaning claiming that we did not clean on exit and that we had a dog there. Won't be going back

All in all a great little Bach for the price you pay, great location but if you're looking for privacy especially while outside your Bach then this is not the place as the neighbors across the road definitely put a dim on your stay by their constant peeking over their fence and through their windows. Apart from that absolutely great little bach

Property was a little run down compared to the photos online. Had a very damp smell but the heat pump and dehumidifier helped. We found a clump of hair in the bed when we went to make it which wasnt very nice.

Our stay was amazing. The place was more than we expected, homely and cozy. Nothing flash which is exactly what we love! Highly recommend and will definitely be back again in the summertime to utilise the great deck area.

Awesome little spot for a weekend getaway, good restaurants across and down the road. Walk across the road to the beach. Loved our time here will come back.

Well equipped place even for longer holidays with washing machine and dryer. Great for people (like me) who don't mind doing their dishes by hand.

Owners pleasant and attentive. Location very convenient for beach, restaurants, local buses, corner dairy. A short walk to Waimea Lagoon - be sure to bring along your duck food - they will love you! We look forward to our next stay. Cheers, Meme & Neil

About a 2 minute walk to the ocean itself, the outside space was wonderful, the house ourself was very welcoming and cozy, and the kids loved having the loft to themselves. We had a phenomenal time and would absolutely do it again in a heartbeat!

Had a lovely stay.. There was a howling storm.. House was toasty with heat pump.. Beautiful beach very close... There was a leak due to the wild weather.... Would stay again.

A fabulous authentic Kiwi Bach. A great relaxing winter escape. It’s warm ( great heat pump) clean, comfortable and private. Great shower, comfortable bed and superb beach. Good coffee close by. We look forward to booking another time.

Great place to stay and the neighborhood was lovely. We had everything we needed. Place was alittle damp, but our host had done as much as possible to mitigate this. Greater attention to areas unseen would have made our stay perfect. The area behind the barhroom blind needed a clean, and unfortunately our kids found a previous guests underwear under a chair in bedroom.
