Ground level - self contained 2 bedroom apartment with a walkout to a covered private deck and patio. Apartment is located on the ground floor level of a gorgeous lake house in the Miller Lake area of the Northern Bruce Peninsula. The apartment is surrounded by a lush forest and the cottage is located across the street from Miller lake and has lake access steps from the front door. The unit is fully self contained with a private entrance and includes full use of the property incl. fire pit and outdoor shower. Please note: The rental is for the ground floor apartment only and does not include the upper levels of the house. Located 15 Minutes to Tobermory and 30 minutes to Wiarton.

Great location with beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed our stay here.
The object is well equipped.
However, the description is misleading: The rental object is under the terrace in the basement. It is dark, so you have to switch on lights even in bright daylight. During rainfall its getting damp. Because of this all doors do not shut easily.

This rental was in the prime area for walking on The Bruce Trails. We were able to reconnect with each other and nature. Dale was great to answer any we had. The place was clean and very home like. We will definitely be back.

Great location within 30 minutes from beautiful trails on Bruce Peninsula. In October, fall foliage interspersed with evergreens provide lovely vistas along with Georgian Bay and Lake Huron. Lodging on basement level of lovely home has full-equipped kitchen, heated floors, very clean furniture, privacy, a perfect getaway for us busy ladies!

Comfortable stay
We enjoyed our trip to the Bruce Peninsula and our stay at Miller Lake was very comfortable. The cottage was clean and had all the amenities needed to allow us to enjoy our stay. The hosts were available via email and helped us enjoy our stay. Given the time of year, there wasn’t a lot happening at Miller Lake but we were a short drive from Lionshead, Tobermorey and Wiarton and the hikes, restaurants etc that we were looking for. Really enjoyed our trip and we will go again.

Good location and comfortable apartment. Suggested improvements: identify rental as a walk-out basement. Photo is a bit misleading to customers as you think you show a cottage. Toilet runs on unless flapper is jiggled. Bathroom door hinges very squeaky, and could use some oil. Cooking was very limited with a one pot induction burner. The Barbeque came in very handy. Reading lights in the bedrooms and in the living room would also help. Otherwise we enjoyed the stay and thank you for the opportunity.

Lovely hideaway
This property was very clean and comfortable. My husband and I just wanted a quiet place for some downtime. The area was peaceful, and it was convenient to be within walkiing distance of the Summer House campground with a cafe, convenience store (and hand-dipped ice cream cones!)

It was a relaxing and cozy house to stay at. The owners were really good at communicating with us. Also I loved how they labeled everything making it easier for you us.

Well located for visiting places (1h from Sauble beach, 25mins from little village Tobermory where you can buy food and wash clothes, 20 mins to Little Cove). Kitchenette is small but functional and it has everything you need. The fridge is small so don’t buy to much food that need to be refrigerated. We enjoyed our stay of 7 days!
