Amazing weekend

The hot tub was amazing, the farmhouse had everything you need for your stay. The host were very friendly and helpful. Within a 15-20 minute walk was The Victoria Hotel is a gem the homemade food was lovely.

We were not aloud family to visit us as there was one person to many, not very friendly

No breakfast, location was miles from anywhere

No heating upstairs in the cottage, and we we were constantly watched by the warden, it was more like a prison camp than a holiday

Fabulous stay.

Lovely location. Log fire and the hot tub were a bonus. The staff were very friendly and informative. Very quiet location.

Pots and pans were very used and dated. We had to buy a new frying pan as the one in the cupboard wasn't useable.

Really friendly hosts, really clean and toasty warm. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a day on the fells. Highly recommend.

Amazing place Lovely cottage with everything you need Would definitely go back. Kids loved evey minute of the weekend. Hot tub is spot on. Looking to also try the campsite next summer ☀️

Only downside is the beds we're too firm For us but that's not stopping us from returning next year.

the cottage was in a lovely location, ideal for our trip to scafell, but needs some bits as above done.

nice open space down stairs. good kitchen facilities. large bathroom and bedrooms. my family enjoyed the hot tub.

the windows in the lounge and kitchen window didn’t open. would be a nightmare in the summer. the window in the lounge formed part of next doors outside area. they hung their coat outside the window which was off putting. the dogs barking very early in the morning and evening. the extractor fan in bathroom was very loud and the one in the upstairs toilet didn’t work. the door to the bathroom needs some shaving off the bottom it’s noisy to shut. the sofa was lumpy. the pillows were very hard and uncomfortable.

Excellent. Would love to return!

Hot tub was lovely (some solar lights around the hot tub area could be a nice addition we thought) and the wood burner is a great addition. The logs were topped up on request. The wardens were very helpful and friendly. Great location for the beach, ennerdale and wast water, RavenGlass and for Scarfell pike walks too. Lovely cottage and location.

Exceptional

The cottage was lovely, clean, warm. All the facilities where there with what we needed. The kids loved every second of our little family holiday especially helping with feeding the cows. They loved it. We will defo be booking again.

the hot tub was great as was the fireplace! the owners were super friendly and everything was clean kitchen was stocked with utensils

the beds werent the most comfortable but tbh it doesnt matter if youre there for a short break

Great owners and the farmhouse was perfect for what we needed for a weeks staycation ! Great location to see wast water

Julie the owner was so welcoming and even gave my little girl who loves animals a little tour round the farm and let her sit in one of the tractors. We loved how friendly and welcoming Julie and the team were!

Nothing that we didn’t like it fitted our requirements perfectly!

Great location on a farm with friendly hosts and a nice hot tub to relax

Spacious property, friendly hosts, nice hot tub, great location for Scafell Pike and other western Lake District sites

Think they advertise tennis courts, but there dont seem to be any.

The welcoming, the house was very clean and comfortable. The hot tub was so amazing.

If I have something to find...but not surprising when you are in a farm. The smell of the cow's bedding.
