Vacasa was great to work with. They made sure to provide all of the information needed in a timely manner. The check-in and check-out process was very easy.
The house was a mixed bag. The location was great. It is a quiet and peaceful area. The outdoor space was also fantastic. The top deck has a view of the ocean and the bottom screened in porch is nice for sitting outside. The bathrooms and kitchen are updated and very nice. We cooked on Christmas day and the kitchen is well stocked with everything that you need. The television is great and we had no problems with the wifi and streaming. Also, the house was clean for the most part.
However, the house definitely needs some TLC. Most of the furniture feels old and outdated. Many pieces are damaged or just worn and stained. There are some minor issues that just need repaired (a broken lamp and broken blinds in the second bedroom, a missing smoke detector in the master bedroom, etc). The carpet upstairs is worn out and stained. It just could use some general upkeep. Also, we could never find the source but there was a strong musty/old odor in the house. In fairness to Vacasa - it was the Christmas weekend and we did not ask them to do any repairs during our stay.
The house worked for our stay and we didn't spend too much time at the house with so many fun things to do in the area. We will stay in that area again when we come back and we will use Vacasa again. However, we would not choose to stay at this house again.

We loved the screened in porch and the very short walk to the beach. Very quiet neighborhood and easy to get on and off the island. Water pressure in showers could be a tad better. We were expecting to use the washer/dryer in the unit but the washer was not working and we received very little information from management regarding what the problem was and when it would be fixed. Information was not updated without us having to message several times about the status. We stayed 17 nights and expected to use the washer/dryer. Ended up going to a laundry mat which wasted relaxing porch time. We would stay again but would ask if the washer was fixed before booking. Kitchen could use some more bowls but other than that it was well stocked with dishes and utensils. Would be nice if they supplied more paper products and extra towels (couldn't wash them due to washer was broken) for each guest for the price you pay.

Booked a 4 night, 5 day stay, had to leave 2 days earlier because of a hurricane approaching the area, Vasaca gave excuses for no refund on remaining time☹️☹️☹️
Lost a customer, won’t do business with them again
Other than the customer service being greedy, we had a great time for 2 days. Will go back to the area again but will not book anything through Vasaca !!!!

It was unsightly as well as there was a big garbage dumpster right outside of the house which brought vermin around in the evening. Other than this temporary issue we would choose to stay here again when the construction is over.
Rental agency said there could be a chance for early check in or late checkout but that was not an option. Driving for the keys was a bit of a pain as well but overall we enjoyed our stay!

We loved the house. It was beautiful and clean. We only had a few problems: 1. Check-in and checkout were cumbersome, as we had to drive to an office before and after our visit. 2. A house is being built exactly behind this one, and the construction was SO LOUD. 3. The blow dryer was from the 1970s and didn't work. and 4. Based on the reviews and pictures online, this looked like a nice property. When we arrived the lawn was knee high. Steps on the stairs were loose. One of the doors had a broken knob and torn screen. When we got inside, the air filters were noticeably filthy and the air handler was struggling to keep the house cool. We found food still stuck on some of the pans. There were issues with the shower and sink drains draining very slowly. The mattress on the king bed is obviously old with a significant hump in the middle. There is only one tv, which is odd for a house that sleeps 8.
The property only had a charcoal grill which was in very bad shape and nearly unusable. The dryer did not dry well and would not shut off by itself.
On the positive side, the front desk staff was helpful and had maintenance out reasonably quickly to address the safety issues. Then they fixed the door, drain, and steps the next day. They also brought a gas grill as a loaner. When there was a power outage in the evening they had maintenance out again and when it turned out to be a localized outage, the maintenance staff kept us updated on the fix from the power company.
Overall the staff was very helpful and responsive. However, the problems really shouldn't have been issues to begin with. The lawn was also never mowed the entire week we were here and the missing smoke detector was never replaced so not everything was resolved.
We would not recommend this property nor would we rent here again. We would give Vacasa a second chance based on the responsiveness of the staff though.

Really nice home, would stay again
The home was clean, had lots of dishes and silverware and many staple kitchen needs. The bathrooms and kitchen were new looking and the location was perfect for beach access. There is a very nice screened in Porch off the main floor and an outside shower for rinsing off sand. The laundry room is in the locked basement so you do have to go outside to wash clothes. The Décor is not what’s pictured on the website but is equally nice.

Very clean. Loved the screened in porch. Easy walk to the beach. We were in town for a family wedding so we didn’t use the kitchen much. But would like to stay here again when we have more time to enjoy.

We loved staying at 128! It is located a half a block from the beach, it’s in a quiet neighborhood and the house has everything we needed! We are looking to come back next year!

I stayed in this home for over a month and found it to be very comfortable and in a great location. I had a few problems with appliances, but the response from the owners and property manager solved these quickly.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay
House was very clean; cleaners left the house spotless. Screened in porch is a fantastic addition to living area. Kitchen very nice but could be better equipped (knives, baking dishes, plastic ware, etc). Easy walk to the beach via a cut through directly in front of house. Had a great week with our family at the beach!

Great House!!
This was our 3rd straight year getting the house for our family. The location is awesome and the house fit our needs perfectly. The outside porch is large and where we spent most of our time when not at the beach. Kitchen is very functional and the dining room table seats 8 comfortably. Will be booking again for 2021!!
