A wonderful place to stay in Ponta Delgada

Breakfast offerings were plentiful and excellent with local breads, jams cheeses and dairy. Hot coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice was also available. Our hosts, Sergio and Vania, were very accommodating plus there is secured parking available next door for a small fee. Finally our bed was super comfortable.

Like many facilities operated remotely, many of the lights are set to come on with motion. We would find ourselves arriving in the dark trying to get the lights triggered. The entrance lights could be better, but the positives far outweigh this one dislike.

Od pierwszego kontaktu z Gospodarzami obiektu czułam się zaopiekowana i bezpieczna. Nie było pytania na które nie otrzymałabym odpowiedzi. Czułam wsparcie przez cały czas pobytu. Jestem za to bardzo wdzięczna.

A recommander absolument.

Une très belle demeure authentique rénovée avec beaucoup de goût. Des espaces lumineux ,généreux et très agréables . Vania et Sergio sont des hôtes extrêmement gentils . Ils se sont mis en quatre pour nous guider, réserver taxis ou autres . Un petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux est servi ( produits locaux). Les gestes barrières y sont parfaitement respectés. Une propreté irréprochable est à souligner.

La hospitalidad del personal fue maravillosa. Las instalaciones muy bien cuidadas. El desayuno nos encantó, muy completo y todo buenísimo!

Muito bom, mesmo no centro da cidade

Localização, estacionamento, a amabilidade dos anfitriões, o pequeno almoço sempre pronto todos os dias, as toalhas para a praia, a garrafa de água todos os dias, e a possibilidade de utilizar o espaço comum

Quarto um pouco pequeno para uma estadia de 7 noites, insonorização (especialmente devido ao quarto ao lado ter o duche na zona da nossa cabeceira de cama)

Struttura davvero eccellente; vivamente consigliata!

Colazione semplice, sia dolce che salata ma abbondante. Posizione ottima, a due passi dal centro; Sergio e Vania sono stupendi padroni di casa e sono sempre disponibili per qualsiasi problema. Ottimo anche il garage adiacente la struttura, a pagamento ma ne vale la pena visto che è difficile trovare parcheggi esterni. Perfetta la pulizia delle stanze, piccole ma con due grandi letti ad una piazza e mezza comodissimi!

Aggiungerei soltanto lo spazzolino del wc, per il resto nulla da segnalare.

Great Stay - Vania and her husband were wonderful

Vania and her husband were very kind and super helpful. Our flight was canceled the day we checked out, and they were able to accommodate us for an additional night. The room was very clean and comfortable. The private parking was very convenient and relatively cheap.

Sometimes little insects can be found in the room, but understandable since this is an historic building.

Sergio is a nice and kindly person. He pays always attention on guests needs. The accomodation is unique, central and lovely. I really suggest to stay here.

Great place to stay!

Friendly hosts who give lots of good tips and info about the island. Nice breakfast. Their private garage next to the hotel comes in handy too, and it's only €5/day.

The room smelled a bit musty (because of Sao Miguel's moist climate I guess). Luckily the airco took the edge off a bit.

Amazing B&B

Everything! Vânia and Sérgio are the loveliest hosts ever. They gave us such a warm welcome and helped us to organise a rental car, gave us great recommendations for places to eat and see. They also were very helpful whenever we had a question for them and were in general just nice to chat to. They also gave us a delicious breakfast each morning to fuel us for a day of activities. The hosts don't stay on-site as you sometimes get with B&Bs, and wish that and it can sometimes feel like you are in someone's personal space but here it was nice and we could do our own thing like use the kitchen facilities at any time we wished. The room was really comfortable and with nice wood floors. Ponta Delgada is very walkable in general, with the accommodation being within a 10 minute walk of most restaurants, with a fantastic sushi restaurant located just outside. We loved Ponta Delgada and our experience in Casa da Graça played a huge role in that.

Warm hospitality with all the best modern conveniences

Sergio was incredibly helpful, providing great recommendations for the best places to eat and helping to arrange our airport transfer. The rooms are modern, newly-renovated, high-quality bed linens, good air conditioning, and fantastic water pressure in the shower. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautifully appointed hotel room , lovely house, with a husband & wife that put forth the ene

Sergio put 200% into every detail of our stay and those of other guests. He gave us his personal contact info in the event we were confused or needed assistance while out of the hotel. The breakfast was healthy and memorable. We will return.

Well located in the centre of Ponta Delgada Nice decoration in the property The guy that welcomed us was very nice The breakfast was awesome !

The bathroom is quite small but above all it is not very convenient because of the door. A sliding door would have been more convenient

A beautiful retreat in the middle of the city

A wonderfully adapted 19 century house with many period features. The owners could not have been more helpful. It deserves it's high rating.

Exceptional

I travel allot, i stay frequently at hotels in different cities mainly in Europe. I don't like writing reviews, and hardly ever find myself compelled to do so, however credit where credit is due. This establishment is in short perfect. It has character and soul that normal hotels usually lack, in terms of decorative aspect and style. Whilst remaining classy and delicate as opposed to other accommodation establishment that try and add character and usually fail. "Casa Da Graca" just hits the mark spot on. One of the very few hotels I find my self compelled to actually recommend to a friend. Thank you for a great stay.

Exceptional

Vania and Sergio are a super friendly couple, welcoming to their guests and passionate about their island. They gave us excellent advice on how to best enjoy Sao Miguel. Their hotel is very charming and well equipped, also ideally located. The breakfast is delicious and they really make you feel at home, proposing you some local liquor and helping you with anything you need. I usually do not leave any reviews but this time I felt like it would be unfair not to leave one.

Lovely stay, best value for money

We had a fantastic stay at CASA DA GRAÇA and we wish it was longer. This charming boutique hotel has only 9 rooms and is tastefully designed in vintage style with great attention to detail. The location is perfect to explore Ponta Delgada by foot with dozens of restaurants minutes away and everything in a walking distance. Parking in the garage saved us time in searching for parking or figuring out the meters. The rooms are comfortable and functional. Sérgio and Vânia are friendly and welcoming, they offered us help with recommendations and with booking restaurants and activities on the island. The house rules book was full of information and recommendations that were better than some travel books. We also appreciated their attention for sustainability and recycling. Breakfast was delicious and freshly made with local, quality products. We liked it so much we asked them where they get their cheesee. This was our favorite accommodation out of 3 during our stay at Sao Miguel, and provides the best value for money. I can't recommend it enough. Thank you, we hope we'll be back soon!

Above expectations

We were over the moon when we arrived at Casa Da Graca and met the Diogo e Debora. So welcoming and helpful. The room was just amazing. A mixture of the rustic old with a modern style. Super comfortable bed. Clean. Full of light. Perfect room. Breakfast was exceptional. Local products . Variety. Great coffee. Thank you Vania for also being so welcoming and helpful messing me back with suggestions about what to do in Sao Miguel.

A great property with fantastic hosts.

The beds were super comfortable. The shower was hot. The breakfast was delicious and was nice to enjoy local produce. Sergio and Vania could not do enough to help us when we had questions. Great hosts.
