The room was comfortable and we slept well, although water pressure on 12th floor wasn’t the best. The pool was lovely and well maintained. The staff were all very friendly. It was overall good value for money despite issues with the restaurant.

Unfortunately the restaurant let the stay down otherwise we would have rated higher! Cooked breakfast was served cold on our last day despite being cooked to order from set menu and it was clear the pastries were reused from previous days as they were very hard and stale. We were also sat down for dinner on our first night and no one came to take our order so by the time we asked for someone to take our order 20-30 minutes later they told us the kitchen was closing in 30 minutes so they couldn’t start our order which was disappointing as we had nothing else to eat.

The aircon unit was incredibly loud. There is no way you can sleep with it going. It’s a big generic building, nothing overly special (didn’t really appear like the website). Quite expensive for what it is.

customer service is poor. little explanation given to why we were not able to check in early. we arrived at 2pm and we had to wait for 1 full hr til 3pm. then we could checked in. services provided in hotel was not explained thoroughly. like spa or buffet for breakfast lobby no aircon which is disappointing. cos it was a hot day!imagine we had to wait in sweat! rooms were satisfactory, clean and nice. also aircon on room luckily was perfect! buffet breakfast was disappointing cos no buffet at all. ala carte menu was given. luckily food was satisfactory. expected a little more as it was our first hotel in Penang. luckily we stayed for only 2 nights then move to another hotel!

The room is very spacious and comfy. This is my third time here and would come here again. Staff was very friendly, pool was lenient in terms of your attire. You can just wear shirts and long pants.

The room was quite dark. The lamp is not enough to brighten the room. The breakfast pastries was stale. Almost all the waffles and rolls were too hard to be eaten

Location is very peaceful and serene, maybe our selection of dates didn't have many guests turnout. We got an executive room overlooking the sea and it doesn't feel like we're in Batu Ferringhi haha. Great stay

Gym condition is quite poor and quite hot as AC needs to be turned on by room card, ended up swimming in the pool instead.

I really like the quietness of the hotel. Because of the location, not many ppl would come here, which may be bad for your business but good for ppl like me. I booked this hotel mainly to go the Pantai Kucing & also to really have quiet time. The room was also spacious.

The service. For a hotel with such a far out location, the least you can do is to provide transportation to & from airport. That would have helped a lot. I wrote to the hotel through Booking.com about this but there was no response also. At least write back to inform whether have or not. Also, I switched the single couch to face the window, so I can look at the sea during my stay but when the housekeeping came, they switched it back to original position! I decided not to ask for my room to be tidied up & only ask for the rubbish to be cleared on my last night. Your housekeeping handed me a trash bag & expected me to change it myself? Disappointing on these points but otherwise the staff were generally friendly. Would also be helpful if staff learnt to speak better English. Slight cleanliness issue - there were 2 small cockroaches. Also, the table seemed to have glue stains that weren't removed properly. Your hotel switched my room after my 1st room's aircon leaked badly & both rooms' tables had such glue stains. The 1st room bed faces the woods & the sun & because I like to sleep with curtains open, the sun was blinding in the morning. The other room was great! There was natural light in the morning but the sun does not hit me because the bed faces the sea (the sun rises the other side). So the aircon leak was timely so my room could be changed to something suitable for me! hahaha.

the staff were friendly and accommodating. the facilities are still new, the are children room for kids to spend time and nearby the beach.
