About this condo rental
The Jamaica Royale complex provides all the best of amenities!!! Private Beach....3 heated community swimming pools, one being near the beach, free covered parking, gas grills, outdoor shower...all.on our famous Siesta Key Beach with it's white, cool, powdery sand.....build sandcastles, walk the beach to pick-up shells, play in the Gulf of Mexico.....it's all here waiting for you! This suite is not in the tower but ground level making is super quick and easy to walk to the private beach! One of the best located suites in the complex. The Private beach is just outside the door along with the heated pool. What else could you ask for!? This is a TWO LEVEL townhome so you must be able to navigate stairs to reach the bedrooms. *Unit is undergoing a balcony repair so access to the balcony is not available at this time. There are also engineer reviewed professionally installed wood framing under the upstairs balcony in front of the downstairs balcony for safety. It will not be fixed until the latter part of 2024. Photos show exactly what it looks like. Three complex pools and a shuffleboard court. 30 seconds to the heated pool near the beach. The location of this resort is ideal as it sits on the Siesta Key beach and the complex has its own private beach strip. It's also just a short 1.5 miles away from the heart of Siesta Key Village. Leave your car parked in the shade and take one of several free rides offered where you tip for appreciation. Visit the many great shops to purchase beach wear or high-end clothing. Walk down the sidewalk and scour for many great restaurants to choose from or grab a hot donut at our local Meaney's Mini Donut stand. If homemade ice cream or gelato is your thing, stop at Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream or choose Big Olaf's Amish homemade fare. It's all at your fingertips if you stay in our villa at Jamaica Royale. The complex is comprised of 2 towers and two rows of condos with covered parking in front. This unit is one of the few townhomes near the end of the row placing you nearest the beach. The complex is beach front, not the unit itself. The complex will be resurfacing the parking lot. Exact dates to be determined. Master bedroom: King bed / cable only, TV in room / private patio on 2nd floor Guest bedroom: queen bed / TV in room with cable only Living room: sofa bed pullout / Smart TV including cable, open patio out to the lawn, pool & beach Walk into the townhome thru your private doorway and on your right is the open kitchen. From the entryway is one of the bathrooms with granite counter and tiled step-to shower. Just down from the bath is the winding staircase (bedrooms upstairs) that has handrails and non-slip carpet. Upstairs is the master King bedroom fit for a King & Queen with sliding doors that open to a screened lanai overlooking the courtyard greenery. There are his/her closets and a flat screen TV for you to fall asleep watching your favorite nighttime show. The lanai is large and can accommodate everyone in your party. There are 3 small tables, one with a lamp for extra lighting with two chairs situated at each table. You'll surely enjoy the lanai with your morning coffee/tea and evening sunsets with a glass of vino. The second guest bedroom has a Queen wicker bed, window for natural light covered with shades, two small closets and a wall-mounted flat screen TV. The lovely kitchen is updated and open with solid stone granite counters in cream & gray with white oak cabinets and stainless steel appliances. The oven/stove is a stainless w/black glass top burners making it super easy to clean. All dishes, glasses and basic appliances are provided. Just off the kitchen is a dining table for 4. The kitchen is open to the living room that is decorated in a beach theme with new blue sofa sleeper for 2, starfish decorating the walls, beach wood-like tables and a very comfortable leather chair with ottoman. Enjoy movie night with the gang on the flat screen TV (Frontier cable /WiFi throughout).....so get the popcorn popping! There is an open private patio off the living room with another dining table for 4 so you can get as much outdoor living as possible. In addition, there's a lounger and chair situated around a small lamp table so bring out the wine and cheese anytime day or night! Beach accessories are provided in the closet near the stairs. This is a NON-SMOKING CONDO. Sorry, no pets allowed. A shower is available for Jamaica Royale guests as you re-enter the property from the beach. There are also water hoses provided by each Garden apartment to remove sand from your feet and from the beach supplies. There are two shuffleboard courts two BBQ gas grills. You are welcome to use them any time. Covered parking for your car so it stays dry and cool. Local management with excellent customer service for quick response. We can't wait to host you! Many complexes do not allow boats, motorcycles, trailers, jet skis, kayaks, or golf carts. Some do not allow monster trucks. Ask prior The complex is in the process of adding a fence and gate to be done in the near future. Starting in early Aug or Sept. 2024 asphalt repair work will happen. March 2024 Two new BBQ grills will be added (two temporary grills available to use). We help make the most of your vacation by providing Xplorie's Free Admission to some of the area’s top attractions each and every day including a choice of a free bike rental, kayak rental, a dolphin cruise tour, or admission to the Ringling Museum ! Round-trip airport transportation provided for up to 3 passengers from SRQ or TPA with advance reservation. The fare is free but please tip the driver. Limited to one activity for just one person each day. Create exciting memories, have more fun, and truly experience the Beaches of Sarasota! Book now for an amazing vacation experience! Would have liked to have been able to use the balcony ( unfortunately under construction . Clean, close to the beach, nice pools. Needs ice maker and upstairs bathroom door doesn’t close all the way. Very nice place

Owner keeps the unit clean. Location & proximity to pools and beach are excellent!
Owner needs to finish the deck support so the master bedroom slider can be opened again.
If steep stairs are an issue for you, probably not the best option. We got used to it after a couple days. Some windows are missing screens as well. Overall we had a nice stay, the unit has some nice updates, but needs some finishing touches.

The unit was not very clean when we arrived. They also have an ant infestation. We were not able to use the screened in porch because it is being held up by a brace. If this was my unit I wouldn't let anyone stay there until the porch is properly repaired. Huge safety issue. The property is beautiful but the unit was disappointing.

Property was clean and has a great location. Needs some updating. Repair work being done (since Fall of 2022) on the upstairs balcony that impacts balcony and downstairs outdoor patio (this is listed in property info).
Master bed very comfortable. Guest bed was lumpy. Overall a good stay for the price point.

It was awesome. Self check in. Very clean and all the comforts of home. Property as depicted in photos. Great pool steps from my door and 2 minute walk to the Ocean with a private beach. Had a minor maintenance issue and it was addressed immediately. Parking spot outside the door.

Beautiful, clean, well equipped and comfortable place! Beds were comfy, plenty of lovely blankets, great patio! Kitchen was well equipped. Plenty of bath and beach towels and chairs. A little disappointed we couldn’t access upper deck at first but didn’t impact us really at all. Thank you! Hope to be back!

The apartment is located in the heart of the Siesta key Beach. We enjoyed every single day of our stay between early promenades on the beach while the kids where still sleeping and long days on the white sand until the sunset.

This 2 bedroom 2 bath villa was super close to the private beach. Beach was beautiful and chairs were provided. The beds were super firm, but other than that really nice.

1. For all those reviews about frying pans and bakeware…they added a few things, however it has been the least stocked place we’ve stayed in out of the 7 years we’ve been coming to siesta key.
2. If you enjoy dripping sweat while you’re on the toilet, being drenched in sweat while you’re cooking and being beyond uncomfortable while sleeping….this place is just for you. The AC is LOCKED at 73 degrees which is insane for a two story home in SARASOTA. They gave us some bs excuse about the AC freezing below 73 which I’ve NEVER heard of an ac freezing below such a high temperature. We’re from Miami and that crap does not happen and its just as hot. The AC was beyond awful. No one got a good nights sleep the entire week we stayed. The costumer service sucked. They made us feel like we were trying to steal money from them when we complained about the ac. AC guy went out and fixed the flooding of the AC but told us personally the coils had to be changed the same week and then the property manager people told us he said within the next months(not true). I had to be in a sports bra 24/7 in the home. Bathrooms were even worse because neither of them have any VENTS. Its just pure heat and the worst after you shower cause of the humidity. No way of opening the bottom bathroom window to let in or out some air because its broken. You’ll be miserable and we told them almost everyday we were miserable and no one did anything about it. They kept with the ac freezing which just means to me the AC SUCKS and needs to be changed but they’re too cheap to do so. They should have said somewhere the ac couldn’t go below 73 because I wouldn’t have booked.
- the 2 fans they provided are COVERED in dust, its nasty. Couldn’t even use those to help at night. Had to spend money on new fans from walmart to try and help.
3. Internet went out multiple times during our stay. They claimed the entire key went out the first time, so we dealt with it. They tried the same crap the second time but I could see on our firestick all the other wifis were available except ours. It sucked and they couldn’t even get someone out there same day. We had no wifi or tv which we use so much on vacations.
4. Upstairs bedroom door doesn’t lock and barely closes. Upstairs bathroom also doesn’t have a lock, period? So weird and inconvenient since we travel with friends and not family.

We have stayed at this property 3 other times . We love it ! This is the first time we have stayed at this unit . It definitely needs some new supplies . There are no extra pillows despite having a pullout couch , the sliding door didn’t lock , the upstairs shower didn’t drain ( got fixed ) , the second upstairs bedroom definitely needs a new mattress . Can see it sag also there are much more comfortable options ( not expensive ) for added sleeping couches verses old pullouts that was very uncomfortable for even a 14 yo . Was uncomfortable . Although the kitchen had enough plates , bowls etc it has essentially no pans ( 2 in terrible condition ) nothing to bake in and no Tupperware or storage containers . Could definitely use some upgrades in kitchenware . Was worse stocked one we ever stayed in . Was also very surprised not to have fan vents in the bathrooms with humidity and mold .

Great spring break in Siesta!
The penthouse 3 unit in the Jamacian Royale resort was perfect for a family of 4. Very close to the pool and beach, and issue with the door lock was resolved quickly. Would definitely rent again!

We have stayed at this property 3 other times . We love it ! This is the first time we have stayed at this unit . It definitely needs some new supplies . Nice clean unit very close to beach and 2 pools.
The little extras were nice beach towels beach toys and a small cooler came in handy .

The overall unit was nice. It was a bit dark in some rooms and the drapes should be changed out to a bright color to be more cheery, but overall was functional. The upstairs shower doesn't drain as well as one would like and the sink doesn't drain quickly at all and becomes quite full before draining. The cookware pans should be updated as there aren't very many and the two in the unit are not non-stick. There is no bakeware pans. The furniture in the open living and dining should be rearranged as the dining table isn't centered with the walls/lighting and you can bump your head. I would mount the TV on the wall and lose the table it sits on to provide able space for the table and walking area.
The beach is the most favorite part about this property as its right on the gulf and plenty of private space for the time we were there.

This condo was everything that we needed for our girls' trip. It was not overly fancy and could use a couple more mirrors, but it was simple, clean, and the location was wonderful. The property manager was very helpful and check-in/ check-out was super easy. Overall, it was a nice place, and I would stay there again.

Great location right by the pool and the beach. The unit also had beach chairs, beach towels, and some beach toys for the kids which was great. Would recommend buying extra paper towels, tp, laundry soap, and trash bags if you have 6 people - we ran out of all that was supplied. (There's a Publix nearby that delivers through Instacart which was great.) There's also not many bath towels and minimal space to hang them after using so we were doing laundry quite a bit even though I would have preferred to reuse towels. There is laundry in the unit but it's a very small machine. The unit could use some updating, for example there's some mold growing under one of the bathroom sink handles so even when it's clean it just looks gross. But, all considered, it was a great price for a unit so close to the beach. The patio area was really nice and we sat out there quite a bit. We really enjoyed our stay and loved the area.
