It was perfect. Clean, bright and welcoming - tons of amenities. I felt completely safe staying there with my kid and my dog. Recommending this cabin to anyone who needs to get away for a few days!

I stayed here with my son during our annual fishing trip. The area is quiet and secluded. House is small but plenty of room for the two of us. We enjoyed the fact that we are only about ten to fifteen minutes from several of the boat launches! It beats driving an hour each way to and from our home.

This cabin was a great place to stay. We love to take our dogs with us when we go places and unlike any other place we’ve stayed, this cabin had a fenced backyard! It was so nice putting the dogs out there to play. The bedding in this cabin was super cozy, my husband has me looking for an Ugg comforter for home, just like in the cabin. It is located on a super quiet road and very secluded. Not one car passed by while we were there. We would definitely recommend this place to others!

The Blue Bonnet’s cabin is a cozy and quiet place in a secluded area surrounded by beautiful trees. We didn’t get to use the fire pit because it was too cold outside but it would have been amazing to sit outside and enjoy the view. We brought our two 7 year old twins for a Valentine’s weekend getaway and they loved the whimsical decor. The bunk beds were comfortable, and the kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. There were small details that we loved such as the record player with a great music collection, the candy and chocolates, and an extra charger in case we had forgotten one. The TV is large and easy to use but the manuals were available in case we needed them. Evan was wonderful to deal with. He is very kind and cares about guests. We had to cut our trip short due to winter weather warnings but plan to return when the weather is warmer and we can go to the lake.

Just what the doctor ordered (pandemically speaking)!
We very thoroughly enjoyed our all too brief stay at Blue Bonnet Cabin early this November. It was so charming and the decor was not loud as admittedly we somewhat feared. It was so well stocked and the amenities were all taken care of. Compact and cozy and very private. We felt like were in the distant woods. We even saw a couple of (harmless) coyotes on the road near the cabin. The walk up from the street is rather steep so keep that in mind. Not really walking disabled friendly. Has a great propane fueled fire pit on the deck, solar lights around, a fenced in area for pups (pet friendly, yea!). Close to the lake. There's a nearby boat launch public area (Mims Chapel park) for walking the dogs and taking some pics by the gorgeous lake. Johnson Creek recreation area is 10 mins away. Great mattresses (bunk with not much headroom and no backboard, I believe they're full/double not queen), but on the soft side, so be you've been warned. Wifi and huge TV with satellite, great. Fold down sofa, air con and heating -- wonderful. Fully stocked kitchen, bonus! All kinds of other items in case you forgot something. Contact with property mgr Evan was excellent. We highly recommend. But shh, don't tell anyone!

We were visiting the area and decided to book this cabin last minute. Very clean and offered a nice place to relax after spending all day outside. Would book this cabin again if we were back on the area.

Quiet and relaxing. Driving in, the neighborhood didn't look great, but we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. We loved it and will definitely be back
