Peaceful, comfortable, relaxing 2BR/2B waterfront home with very private fenced backyard. Unlimited high speed internet. King size beds in both bedrooms and a Queen size sleep sofa to accommodate up to 6 guests. Enjoy beautiful river views from the screened back porch. Large over the river deck with table and seating for six where you are able to watch the waterfowl, otters and turtles playing. Feed the fish from the deck. Deck is gated to prevent your pets from accessing the river. Fish from your dock or deck. Dock your private boat at the dock or use the four provided free kayaks complete with a kayak launch. LED lighting on the deck for nighttime enjoyment. Enjoy the backyard firepit, 5 bikes and a cornhole game. The Withlacoochee River and Lake Rousseau make for some excellent trophy bass fishing. Children are welcome. Dogs are welcome. Public boat ramp is located just 2 miles from the house. Downtown Dunnellon with it's quaint antique shops and cafes are 8 miles away. A close drive to the Rainbow River head springs & KP Hole county park with crystal clear designated swimming areas. Close by is Three Sisters Springs where you can swim and snorkel with manatees, Crystal River has lots of dining, shopping, varied festivals and fishing guides, during the summer scalloping is a popular activity. The home is conveniently located to Homosassa Springs, Crystal River, Silver Springs, Inverness and Ocala. World Equestrian Center 19 miles. Come enjoy an old Florida get away with all the Nature Coast has to offer or just do nothing and relax at the private setting with the sounds of nature. The beauty of Old Florida with it's abundance of wildlife is sure to please so don't forget your camera.

This was a great place for us to stay while visiting my brother in Dunnellon. The fenced backyard was perfect for our pet. This is by far the most well stocked vacation rental we have ever stayed at. Very comfortable overall.

Our stay was very enjoyable! From the creek/river that runs behind the house and having kayaks on hand to enjoy was great! We like that the house had almost everything we needed except a lighter to light the outside firepit lol! We had to get creative with that one. Overall it was a enjoyable, quiet stay even though the Florida weather was a little off that week. š

House was as stated. Very clean and could tell it was well cared for home. Our dog enjoyed the fenced backyard. Good restaurants in the area. It was somewhat chilly while we were there, so no fish were biting. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

This was our second stay and it was outstanding again. Clean, comfortable, well furnished and supplied, and serene. For a laid back, relaxing get away it is ideal. Within 5 minutes of our arrival we were asking ourselves why we waited 2 years between trips. We will return - again!

We were looking for a rental in this area because it reminds us of "old Florida". This property appealed to us for the location, the deck and waterfront, and the fenced yard - which was fabulous for our 2 Golden Retrievers. What we didn't expect was the incredibly attention to detail that was provided. The host's were superb, and obviously go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. I would rate this a 10 if that were possible. We very much look forward to our next visit back here!

We could not have picked a better place for what we needed. The location was great. Quiet and cozy! The backyard was secure for the pup while also giving us easy access to the river. The house had everything you could possibly need and more. It was clean and comfortable! Thank you for a great vacation.

My husband and I stayed here with our 3 dogs. We also trailered our kayaks up to visit the springs. We had an absolutely fantastic vacation here and definitely want to come back! The house was immaculate and extremely well stocked. It had paper towels, plenty of toilet paper, trash bags, spices for cooking, plenty of towels, etc. Each shower had a dispenser with body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. We didn't use them because we had ours, but they had four kayaks at the house. They even had firewood and a smores kit! There was also a basket by the back slider with a flashlight, sunscreen, and bug spray. They even had a bowl outside for water for the dogs. Karen was super communicative with us and even gave us the option of early check in. She was also extremely accomodating to us bringing three dogs. The dogs had so much fun between going up and down the stairs, sitting on the deck looking at the water, and all of the squirrels! The house itself is out in the country. Its so peaceful there, but also only about 15 minutes into town. You can easily get groceries delivered, run in for dinner, etc. The beds are super compfortable and the TV's support airplay so you can stream your netflix if you wish. I really can't say enough good about the owners and the property. We had an amazing vacation.

What a great place! The home was plenty big for my husband, me and our 2 pups and it was one of the cleanest homes I've ever been in. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking, the 2 beds were large and comfortable, and the A/C was nice and cold! Outside was a big surprise with a very large, fenced in yard, right on the river with a wonderful dock, kayaks and a fire-pit to use, and a lot of beautiful trees. Overall this was such a quiet, peaceful place and we will definitely stay here again; we loved it!

Itās all about the details, they put allot of time into the details. The soft sheets, the perfectly fenced in yard, kayaks, bikes, fire pit, towels, pots pans, everything you could think of and more. They even had a sāmores kit to make the perfect gram cracker marshmellow treat over the fire. On the river and 9 minutes away from Dunkin donuts

We love coming here for a quick weekend getaway . This was our second time visiting. Itās in a relaxing and scenic location close to the Rainbow and as a plus we are able to bring our dog ! The home is well kept and comfortable and has all you need for entertainment including bikes and kayaks. We will be back again!

When we opened the door we were extremely pleased. It appeared clean and thoughtfully decorated. Within 5 minutes we noticed dead and live roach activity. The kitchen dish drain, silverware drawers and cabinets were absolutely covered with small roaches. I immediately notified the host. She was apologetic but offered no solution. She simply stated she was unable to meet pest control that day before our arrival. Unfortunately, we were unable to relocate and had to buy large plastic containers to keep our food and clothing in, to prevent food contamination and risk taking them home in our personal belongings. As a nurse who treasures her time off this was a huge disappointment and for the money we paid I would expect higher standards and more resolution from the host.

Excellent rental property. The house is very well maintained, clean, and the property is in a quiet neighborhood. Access to the main river is about 10 paddles away by kayak. The river was low but the perfect height to teach my kids how to kayak. As a plus the area below the dock is clear and not tanic so no worries on gators. The fire pit, cornhole game, and snorkeling gear all were used daily. The family is already asking when we can return.

The property is well maintained, with a new gas grill, well taken care of bikes, and kayaks. The lovely home had a nice open style kitchen, and living room. The furniture was very comfortable, and very welcoming. Both bedrooms had king beds. Located directly on the Withlacoochie River, which runs into the famous Rainbow River.
The home is also very close to Fort Island Beach, which is also one of our favorites. Stumpknockers restaurant is really close, Highly recommend it! BURGER SHOP, in HERNANDO, ....oh yes...and the ownership of this home are Super awesome! You are great! If you get to visit this place, take care of it, be kind..it will take care of you!

This cabin was just perfect! Perfect size for our family of 4 and our 3 dogs! Clean, well stocked kitchen and products for the kitchen, and also paper products like paper towels and toilet paper. Little touches were awesome too, like the candies, sāmores kit and bottle of Chardonnay. Communication and availability was quick and effortless. The backyard was perfect! It was too warm for us to use the fire pit, but we were out there frequently with the dogs who ran themselves ragged. We played cornhole, fished off the deck and took the kayaks out both days on the river. My only complaint was that our stay was too short. Hoping we can make another trip, and much longer, to see more of the area.

We were days away from enjoying the Kayaks and bikes more, but we did and my granddaughters loved going down to the Withlacoochee River and listening to its sounds!

This was the best vacation rental we have ever been in. The house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The master bed was very comfortable along with the living room furniture, and the screened in porch was the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the natural surroundings.

Very hospitable host, well stocked home, gorgeous river with kayaks and an easy to use kayak launch. This is one of our favorite rentals as we love beinf in middle of nature. There is no better view than from the back screened porch!

Excellent communication with owners. House was 100% ready for our stay. Thoughtful touches like Wine, dog bowls, board. games, etc We had our three dogs and they loved it. Dogs were totally safe with lots of running room. I cannot wait to stay again, and have friends book for visits to our new home in Beverley Hills..

By far, the best place on the Withlacoochee! Karen and Ed are excellent hosts. The house is immaculate and contained everything we could have needed. We loved the quiet and peacefulness and all the river creatures and birds

Spent 5 days here, while hurricane Nicole went through Florida. Place is better than the pictures. Very close to many stores, restaurants. Usually the furniture in a VRBO is what they picked up at thrift shops, not comfortable. The beds here are awesome. My mom had nothing but good things to say about her sleep while there. Recliners and couch also very comfy. Well appointed with supplies; coffee, tea, sugar, seasonings, kitchen equipment, TP, soap, shampoo, etc. Would definitely stay here again

Our "Happy! Happy! Merry! Merry!" Family get together, celebrating our Birthday's, Thanksgiving and Christmas all in one was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! The house was so welcoming and comfortable! Our Host was friendly and personable. They thought of EVERYTHING to make our stay memorable! The River was GORGEOUS! The Kayaks were well maintained and the dockside launch made it so easy!

We enjoyed Labor day weekend at this relaxing riverfront home! The place had everything we needed down to bug spray and a smores kit (my kids loved that!) would definitely return! My only recommendation for future guests is to reserve tubs/kayaks if you go on a weekend we didn't think ahead of time and everything was booked.

The best part of the stay was the use of the kyacks on the river...Awesome! The back yard was large enough for badminton, corn hole and chats around the fire pit all at once. They had everything you need even dog bowls! Very well done... don't miss out on this spot! We hope to be back!

This home was the perfect place for our vacation needs; it was conveniently located to the Rainbow River, was located on a tributary of the Withlacoochee and was stocked with all the comforts of home. I enjoyed leisurely mornings on the deck with a cup of coffee, we practiced using our SUPās in the ācreekā and braved the Florida afternoon rains from the covered porch! There are kayaks, bikes, vests, fishing poles, etcā¦to use, although we brought our own newly purchased SUPās to try out. Our host was responsive and helpful in suggesting several other paddling adventures nearby! We will definitely rent this home again for future getaways!

My husband, son and our 2 dogs thoroughly enjoyed our time at this river house. The fenced yard was such a huge convenience for our dogs. We enjoyed using the kayaks everyday ~ the river is so peaceful and there was plenty of wildlife to entertain us. The home exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and equipped with everything we needed and more! Rainbow River was a short drive away and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

Checking in was easy. Staying there was awesome. Great communication with property manager. The online pictures donāt do this place justice. House is quaint and super fun. We kayaked right off the dock and went fishing every single day. Dogs enjoyed the back yard. Plenty of room. We had sāmores at night and played corn hole for hrs on end. Beds are comfy and linens were great. Having the laundry room was a plus. It was an easy drive to Walmart. 25 minute ride to Rainbow river state park. House even came with noodles and life jackets to enjoy floating around the springs. We loved our stay.

Another perfect stay at a great getaway place.
As usual the house was very clean and had all the little details that welcomed us like family. We always have such a great time when staying here and they always think of all the necessities you might need for cooking or games for entertainment as well as lots of outdoor items to keep you busy your whole stay. Great little vacation spot
We had a fantastic time at this property. House was clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Easy access to the river and the yard was perfect for our pets.
The only issue we had was certainly out of control of the property owners. The offshoot of the River that the house is located on was very low. Still super easy to launch our kayaks but no back deck fishing that we were hoping for.
We would definitely recommend this property and would still stay here again if we were returning to the area!

This place is absolutely beautiful! The spacious house was very comfy and clean. There is a big fenced in back yard that has a river behind it. House is full of everything you could need for an amazing vacation. To top it off, the property owner could not be any more helpful or friendly! We will definitely be returning!

Our stay was wonderful. The house was immaculate and supplied with everything you could possibly need. I have never stayed at a vacation rental that was as well stocked as this was. Our host Karen had thought of everything. Karen always relpied to any questions promptly. I would definitely say our stay was 5 stars. Near by restaurants were great. If looking for a beautiful spot on the river, you can be assured this one is it. Local stores, restaurants and beautiful parks all near by. This was a wonderful vacation for friends and family. Definitely one of the best vacation rentals weāve visited. This home was so comfortable and had everything we could possibly need from an extremely well equipped kitchen to a poop scooper in the garden for our dog. All the little details were wonderful with a nicely stocked kitchen cupboard, bottle of wine in the fridge and sāmores for the fire pit if needed. We appreciated Netflix and a great choice of TV stations in the evenings. The beds were both king and extremely comfortable. Some of the family used the kayaks while we sat on the deck and watched them make their way down the river. The fenced in yard for the dog was such a plus and we loved seeing the birds and squirrels at the feeder. It is such a peaceful and serene home where we could unwind and simply enjoy. Highly recommend snorkeling with the manatees.
Our host was so responsive to any questions we had and the home was spotlessly clean.
Highly recommend this vacation rental and would come back.
