Gute Lage, sauber, netter Vermieter, aber hellhörig und laut.

Die Lage ist grundsätzlich gut, weil zentral und in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße.

Das Haus und die Wohnung ist wahnsinnig hellhörig. Der direkte Nachbar kommt und geht im 20-Minuten-Takt und man fragt sich warum... Die Kopfkissen sind hart und ich habe insgesamt sehr schlecht geschlafen.

access to the bathroom was a bit challenging, up a spiral staircase, one window curtain couldn't be opened

Pleasant

Located in a great neighborhood, great transport connection, the apartment was pretty nice overall.

Not very clean! Really beaten up looking countertop in the kitchen. Really bad smell from the fridge!!! No adequate knife, no bin bags for bins in bathroom and toilet, no dishwashing liquid, no detergent - small stuff like this sours the whole impression of an overall a pretty nice stay. The neighbors from upstairs were throwing cigarette butts to the balcony the whole time!!! No matter if we had clothes drying or were literally sitting there.

Exceptional

Very nice street and tram stations are nearby. Carrefour is 5 minutes walk. Tea and coffee included. Bed was really comfortable. It's an old house, so it is not suitable for the noise.

Everything was basically fine. Just one lamp at the kitchen was blinking, but I'm pretty sure it will be replaced soon.;) Also it would have been nice to have a lid for frying pan.

I will not come back

It was in a very good location and a calm street. It had drying and washing machine

It's an old house, so the floor is very squeaky when neighbours are around. The oven didn't work. There is a water leakage from the ceiling in the inside of the house. There was no toilet paper. But the worst, when I arrived, there was somebody already in the house because the landlord confused himself and gave the wrong code and keys to the tenants who were suposed to stay upstairs. Result: the fisrt night I slept in a dirty bed and the house was smelling like tobaco...

Bad

I was in contact with the owner and indicated several times when I will be arriving. Once there, I noticed that the room was not free. The owner contacted booking.com and after 45min, I obtained booking.com contacted me. The remaining issues and the time investment that followed were more related to booking.com than to the owner.

A comfortable stay

These apartments are in a picturesque neighbourhood, Saint-Gilles, a short tram ride from central Brussels. The bed was comfy and there was complimentary tea and coffee, etc. The host was also responsive when I had an issue. Would stay again!

Very comfortable and spacious apartment

Very spacious apartment with high ceilings, huge bedroom and open plan kitchen. Good location, St. Gilles - nice neighbourhood. Tram station close by. Big balcony. We found parking directly in front of the house, charged only at daytime, free at night.

A bit more love could be invested in the decoration of the place to give it a more personal touch.

Weekend in a lovely area of Brussels

Clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Easy to get in. Bed was massive and very comfy. The area is really nice and feels like it's away from the touristy centre but not too far to walk anywhere. I would definitely stay here again.

No bottle opener! A little noise came through from the corridor but nothing major.

Practical for a short stay in the city

Location & self check-in very practical, communication with host too :)

Last time I stayed here it was way calmer, but now that the house was full and not sound-proof, you could here all doors opening and closing, floors cracking and people going up and down the stairs, so not ideal for light sleepers. Other than that all good :)

The room is close to every kind of public transport and very comfortable.

No elevator and too noisy, but, at the end of the day, very satisfactive

Location

The stains on sofa and chairs, which was a pity because it is very off-putting. Second floor narrow stairs walk up, if I had known I may not have chosen this b&b.

There was a kitchenette. We could have warm dinner after long day on. BUT: Be careful when you book this property. The photos that are published here present two different apartments. We were charged for a spacious apartment with terrace but the accommodation was in a smaller room with no terrace.

We were charged for a spacious apartment with terrace but the accommodation was in a smaller room with no terrace. It wasn't very clean and was a little bit smelly. The walls were very thin and the neighbours were quite loud. But even when they were quieter we could here their radio which was switched on the whole night long. The neighbours lived there, btw.

great location, in need of renovation.

perfect location. best/coolest neighborhood in Brussels by far. easy check in and check out. the apartment has huge potential. good wifi.

huge potential but sadly seems neglected. not like the pictures. some furniture was broken and quite badly stained. two towels for 4 nights (2 people), SUPER noisy inside the house bc you hear every footstep and whisper in the hallway. everything a little musty.

Could be great. But wasn’t

Easy access, lovely balcony and location in general.

The photos do not match the property much at all. A good photographer was hired, but if it once looked like that, it does not now, and had a disappointing feel on entry. It’s not a bad place, but it’s as if the owner forgot about it..:…Dust under the bed, on the light fittings, and top of the cupboards. ¾ roll of toilet paper left for us for two days, old towels and uncomfortable pillows. One artwork in sight and another sign insisting on silence. With some positive energy and love, this would be a gem, but energetically it’s not cared for and clearly just a money earning flat. Take better care of your home, especially if you invite guests into it.

Tiny studio

We were looking for a place with kitchen, Internet and private bathroom. The neighborhood is quiet. The kitchen in general is well equipped.

Some of the furniture displayed in the pictures is not there, like the coach and the chairs. You do have chairs and a coach, but not the ones in the pictures. There was no kettle, no cutting board, no soap for the dishwasher and some of the appliances of the kitchen were dirty, like the microwave and the coffee machine. The coffee machine had a very strong smell of mold, so I cleaned it a bit. The bed linen was a bit old. For the price, almost 100€ the night, the owner should put more effort in maintenance, furniture, cleaning and attention to detail.

Decent apartment in a great location

Great location, helpful owner and good price to quality.

The free parking is actually a city parking where you have to go by tram and it's quite far away. The sofa bed is really uncomfortable.
