We were told check in was anytime after 5pm. Arrived at 7pm and cleaning person was not finished. I washed all sheets and all towels. Nothing smelled clean. None of the cooking pots had lids. We stayed at this VRBO few years back and sad to see the poor condition of this home. Neighborhood is very convenient— only plus of this VRBO.

This is a nice place. It's a bit dated overall, but very livable. The furnishings are great. The management team is wonderful: responsive, helpful. The neighborhood is special. It's right out of a Norman Rockwell painting. The park down the road with a river trail is beautiful. There's even a Starbucks nearby. And Jeni's ice cream? We went 4 times. We didn't use the kitchen so I can't comment on that (ate in another house). Minor complaints: the basement (esp steps) could use cleaning. The TV remote upstairs was MIA. The ceiling fan upstairs didn't work. The heater ducts need cleaning.

House was decent and the neighborhood very quiet. Suited our needs for respite for 2 weeks until we could move into our new build. Management of the property however, was uncommunicative. They also had upgraded the door to a smart lock, but completely removed the door knob making it nearly impossible to close the door. This is just one of numerous short cuts made by management. Overall, just a 3 rating. House itself a 4 rating.

First I want to start off with the property we stayed at was very nice. We had a couple of issues arise, unfortunately one issue was not fixed which made it a bit uncomfortable to sleep. The reservation process and refund process on the other hand, a total nightmare. We reserved a different house, somehow the system overbooked it. A refund was submitted, but I’m being told I’m going to have to wait another two weeks to get my refund. This was not my fault, but I have to be denied MY money. When talking to their customer service agent (Sylvia) she wouldn’t transfer us to anyone to assist us with our issue since she couldn’t. Again, the house was great, the whole process was a total nightmare.
