 It had a certain simple charm to it, was clean and well located, only 10 minutes walk to the beach with parking available.

It was unfortunate that when we arrived lots of people seemed to be checking in and so no one could open the entrance gate for us and nobody was answering the phone. We then had to wait about half an hour to check-in. The apartment was basic but fine, spacious and clean, very well equipped for those wanting to cook, but I was surprised that no personal hygiene products (even basics like a bar of soap) were provided. It was lucky that it wasn’t very hot when we were staying as there was no cool air other than a very noisy fan, and the apartment felt stuffy at night with the shutters closed on the windows. The staff were friendly enough, but the detailed instructions stuck to the back of the toilet door on how to clean the apartment prior to departure were offputting. In this day and age I would expect to find functioning Wi-Fi in most places so I was surprised there wasn’t any here. If you don’t need or expect much then this is a great place location-wise!

It was dreadful, you left me to believe it was a hotel it was not ‘ it was a pocky appt at which nothing was provided without extra payment for what are basics eg sheet towel loo paper no soap

There was nothing to like about it and if booking.com do not refund me I shall never use you again and tell or my friends to do the same

We loved the location. Absolutely perfect for accessing the beach , town , lake , cycle routes and marina/canals. We loved the grounds for the children to play in and the pool was great. We have unit number 7 and it's location in the top corner made it really private which was great. Other apartments were more open to other people walking by. Staff were lovely and helpful. The laundry is well equipped and cheap. The actual apartment had good cooking facilities. The hob and oven were quick and easy to use. Has plenty of utensils . We were a family of 5 and fitted in ok. The main things was the safe storage of our bikes and the car.

We really enjoyed the stay but a few things that could be better The apartment was basic in accomodation for number 7. Outdoor furniture and area could have been cleaner/ better presented. Lots of mosquitoes but expected with the grounds and the weather of rain/sun. Bring good protection for them if you get bitten a lot. Some of the equipment in the apartment needs updating. Shower head wasn't a great fitting but shower power was good. Light in bathroom above mirror flickered. Could have given better cleaning equipment such as cloths and a mop as we were there 10 days and needed to keep it clean from the sand that inevitably comes in. Freezer needs time to defrost as we couldn't open the drawers most of the stay but high turnover in peak season makes that challenging. The privacy of staying in number 7 apt outweighed any minor improvements to be made. Overall very enjoyable place to stay.

This is the second time we have stayed here. The staff were excellent-- the accommodation clean and well stocked. The only disappointing aspect was the fridge which was very noisy during the night, otherwise we couldn't have wished for a better place to stay.
