Of course, the biggest draw is the slopeside location for prime ski-in/ski-out access. The building features a front desk and concierge in the main lobby, with the popular El Sabor restaurant, great for takeout or grab-and-go meals, just off the main lobby as well. On the first floor, you'll find the business center, pool, and hot tubs! Should you need ski gear, Charter Sports is right on the second floor, catering to skiers of all levels. Also on the second floor are coin-operated washers and dryers. Off the property you’ll find Vail General store and Lionshead Liquors just around the corner. All nearby Lionshead restaurants and shops are a short distance away when you’re not spending your time on the slopes. Adventure Ridge at the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola operates day and night, in both winter and summer, for unbeatable family fun! Wonderful long weekend stay at Lion Square. Room was clean and the bed was comfy. Location was great and walking distance to the village + a short drive to Vail Village. Being able to use the hot tub during the cooler weather was a nice touch too. Would certainly recommend and consider staying again when in Vail.

The location of this unit could not be more convenient. Truly steps from the gondola and ski lift. It’s not a huge condo but it was just right for my husband and me. We didn’t spend much time in the room: we got up and hit the slopes, came in for a lunch break, and then back out until it was time to get ready for dinner. The refrigerator and coffee machine were so handy! We rented our skis from the shop right there in the building. The ski valet took great care of us each time we came back to the condo. The pool and hot tub were a wonderful way to relax after a full day. We highly recommend the Lion Square Lodge!

While a bit on the small side, the room is big enough for comfortable after-ski hanging out. The kitchenette is helpful and useful for making snacks and storing drinks. The staff make the place so convenient you combine the ski storage nearby on the slope, valet parking and helpful staff on the grounds who really know the place. I accidentally threw away a nice bottle of wine, and housekeeping helped me retrieve it. Yes!
