Excellent accommodation and fab location. 10 mins walk to a superb beach and 3 pubs all within a 3 min walk.

This one bedroom apartment in a converted traditional stone house is perfect for two people and had a spacious feel to the main rooms. The bedroom in particular was comfortable with enough space enough not to feel cramped which was particularly appreciated. The kitchen was on the first floor along with the bedroom and bathroom and again the kitchen was large enough for two people to be comfortable and to be able to prepare a meal and sit at a proper table to eat. The location in the village of Embleton was perfect with a pub, hotel restaurant and Post Office/shop literally just around the corner. The wide and expansive beach in the beautiful Embleton Bay with views of the ruined Dunstanburgh Castle was less than 1/2 mile walk away.

Nothing stands out.

The location was superb, and the owners were helpful, friendly and readily available to help. It was spotlessly clean. Recommended!

Shower needs attention.

Perfect location to explore this part of the Northumbrian coast. Embleton is a peaceful, friendly village close to Embleton beach with a couple of good pubs for eating and drinking along with others just a couple of miles away. The Nook was just perfect for the two of us - the ground floor lounge was wonderfully cool during the recent heatwave!

Cosy cottage, perfect for exploring this part of Northumberland, close to the coast with many interesting walks.

So cosy and warm. Very secluded and quiet but the pub was only next door.

The location was gorgeous - really easy to walk to the coast and a pub next door meant that we could get food easily on our first night. The kitchen was well equipped and the shower was excellent. We spent some of most evenings in the lounge, chatting and watching TV.

It was clean, warm, comfortable and just the right distance from the beach.

The shower has 1 setting - furnace. It was too hot to use - but that is our only gripe.
