The pictures don't give it justice!
This is a beautiful home right in the middle of everything the West End has to offer. I'd give the host more than 5 stars. The place was clean, well stocked, and communication was stellar. I will stay here every time I'm in town.

The location is a city block from the beach. Close to the main strip, Beech av, so very convenient to everything in besutifyl Long Beach.

Overall, the house and stay was great. The house has everything you need including household items as well as items for the beach. The location of the house is also great as it is a block away from the beach and just steps from the “main” street where there are restaurants, shops, and bars (noise was not a problem).
John was also an excellent host as he was responsive if you needed something and willing to give any recommendations.
We would definitely recommend John’s house to any potential Vrbo users.

We were attending an event at the Sands and needed somewhere close to stay. I highly recommend this rental! It was clean and beautifully decorated! It's "steps" from the beach and although we didn't have a lot of time to take advantage, we did get to take a lovely walk along the water. There are great restaurants within walking distance! I'm sure this rental is even more fabulous in the middle of the summer!! John was wonderful to deal with and and answered all my questions in a timely manner!

Loved this House! Loved this Décor, it was beautiful, the pictures don't do it justice. Very modern yet homey.
A great seating area with barbecue, sun umbrella, picnic table, outdoor shower (so fun) in the back area. The front porch is so cool. 2 lounges and a love seat facing the sunset .Enjoyed our evenings sitting out here!
John provided everything you needed such as new washer and dryer, towels, beach chairs , umbrella 4 beach passes and so much more.
The beach is beyond beautiful. Only a 3 minute walk from the house to the beach. It was never crowded and it was so great to see all the families and kids enjoying the Beach Life.
John was very accessible via text and responded to any of our questions. He is truly one of the best hosts we've encountered. Friendly, helpful and very personable.
Definitely planning on making this a family tradition staying at John's place. Thanks again John.

Amazing Location
We were here for a wedding in Long Beach and the location was perfect for local access to everything! The house is adorable and well stocked! Owner communication is great! It’s a rare find. We would definitely rent again

Lovely beach house
My husband and I rented this property with another couple. It exceeded our expectations. There is a lovely area in front that we drank our coffee in every morning and an awesome grill we made use of in the back. The beach (which is beautiful and clean) is accessible from the end of the block and the board walk is just a few blocks over. There were so many cute shops and restaurants in walking distance. I would highly recommend.

John is an excellent host - communicating before and throughout. The place was comfortable, modern/well furnished, brightly lit, clean and ideally situated (2 blocks to the beach and right around the corner from shops and restaurants. The front seating area was comfortable (and felt private even though on street with passer-by). The house was quiet - even though it was on a busy street. John keeps the kitchen well stocked, and the bathrooms have all the amenities you need (even nail polish remover, first aid stuff, extra toothpaste, etc). Bed and furnishings were comfortable - slept great. We would definitely be back again.

What a beautiful home! The house is so modern and well-decorated. The front patio has lots of space to lounge and have nice chats with friends while enjoying the weather. The house is also close to restaurants, bars, shops, and the beach! Would 100% come back

This fabulous bungalow by the beach was truly magical! The owner is now a friend, he is amazing and totally accommodating and welcoming. It is impeccably decorated, warm and cozy and located in the perfect spot. I could walk/bike to the boardwalk, walk to tons of great restaurants and/or just hang out on the adorable porch. Fantastic stay in classic beach bungalow
John was an amazing house at his beautifully decorated bungalow a block from the beach and steps from the restaurants, shops, and bars of the West End. We stayed for two weeks and felt right at home in this lovely getaway. John was very helpful and responsive, and the layout of the house was perfect for us to work remotely and relax. The outdoor shower is amazing! Enjoy!

What a great vacation!
We booked this property for several reasons. The cancellation policy, proximity to NYC and the previous reviews. We had never stayed anywhere but in the city but wanted a beach vacation so this property fit the bill.
The walk to the beach was very close and they had towels and beach chairs so we didn't have to bring them from home. The restaurants were within walking distance so we didn't have to move our car. It is only street parking but we did fine.
We went to many restaurants and shops and never had a bad meal!
The house itself had everything we needed and more! The outdoor shower was a favorite feature of this beach home. The linens were great quality and had plenty on hand. We didn't cook much but when we did the kitchen had everything we needed.
Our son was able to work from home with the Wi-Fi and the television channels were adequate. For real, who needs TV at the beach. We even played some baord games that were at the property.
And talk about the beach! We were there the week before the 4th of July and having resident beach passes was just great. Otherwise it's 15$ per person per day. We loved the cleanliness and sand and lifeguards on duty.
We will definately be back!
