Clean & Safe Rental Properties: Keeping our vacation homes sparkling clean is a top priority for us here at Morton & Furbish Vacation Rentals. All properties are cleaned, sanitized & disinfected before guests check-in with products proven to eliminate viruses & bacteria. All linens are laundered at an offsite facility and new linens and towels are brought in for every guest's stay. The entirety of our housekeeping processes meet and exceed all CDC cleaning guidelines. If you have any questions/concerns, please reach out to our office for more information. For your convenience: Our housekeepers will leave a check in packet with area information for you at the property. Also included at the rental are paper products, trash bags, dish soap and hand soap. Guests are asked to bring their own toiletries for their stay.

Lovely spacious home that can easily accommodate rainy days.
Loved the access to the water and evening dinners on the picnic table.

LOTS of meals at the lakeside picnic table, daily swims - youngest was 18 oldest was 63 and of course card games at the end of the day. Under water rock exploring and we even mountain biked on Saddlebacks new trails. Between Black moose house and the house next door - everyone got a bed. see you next year

Comfortable,all the amenities, great location and setting. Appreciate the kayaks and canoes, the firepit, the gas grille, the wifi. And the fact that it will sccommodate my dog. Nothing to complain about, lots to rave about! Hoping to return.

Such a great time at Black Moose and Mooselookmeguntic
Cozy, well planned out lake house with a lovely upstairs loft area. Spent a week with my husband and dogs and it was ideal for all of us. The dock and firepit area were just perfect. Neighbors are close but they were very quiet and no loud parties. Many, many different canoes and kayaks are available to use and all in great shape.

Black Moose - 98 Birches Beach
Very comfortable, well supplied 3 BR house with dock and multiple canoes and kayaks to choose from. Rented a boat for a week? We did, but with the water level abnormally low this year it was great to have the use of their mooring ball. Ceiling fans were a wonderful feature during the heat wave we had.
As always the Morton & Furbish crews did a great job of prepping and cleaning the house before our arrival.
Highly recommend both!

Lovely
2nd year for our family reunion. We loved the upgrades and additional kayaks and canoes. Even though the rain came and went most days we still biked & played in the water. The picnic bench on the porch supported many card games and laughter. The first night that was NOT rainy we bolted down to the dock picnic table and ate around the fire pit...sunset and then moon rise. thanks for sharing your home with our family.

Best Camp Ever!
Have been renting in Rangeley area for many years. This is the best accommodation we've ever had. The camp (more like a house) is spacious, with many terrific features, like the inside porch, deck, fully-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The setting is lake-perfect, with lots of waterfront features, like a good dock, picnic table, fire pit and 5 canoes/kayaks.
We have zero complaints and have already pencilled in for next year. Keeping our fingers crossed!

Lovely cabin on the shore of Mooselook! Great location, cozy cabin with all the amenities you could ask for! Secluded but not too far from Oquossoc or Rangeley. Will rent again for sure!

Wonderful stay!
We absolutely loved our stay at Black Moose. Enough room for all without ever feeling on top of each other and every amenity you could ask for. The location allowed for a quick trip to Oquossoc while still feeling away from it all. Also we've been coming to the Rangeley area for 20+ years and we agree the waterfront area was one of the best we've ever had. Being able to sit down on the beach by the rocks was perfect. All in all we LOVED our stay and would go back in a heart beat.

Great property in a beautiful part of the world
Our family loves visiting Maine in the summer and particularly enjoy coming to the Rangeley area. This was our first time staying on Mooselookmeguntic Lake and it did not disappoint. Spectacular scenery and beautiful water. Rocky shoreline so water shoes recommended! The house itself is spacious, clean and well-equipped. We were blessed with beautiful weather during our stay so most of our time was spent outdoors, either right on the lake or enjoying local hikes and kayaking trips. However, had there been any rainy days, there were plenty of games, movies and books provided by the owners to keep most visitors entertained. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Black Moose and look forward to returning next summer.

We had one of the best vacations of our lives here. Great location, beautiful water and sunsets, near to lots of activities, perfect. Hope/plan to stay here again.
