Made us feel like part of the community. Unbelievable generosity of hosts and other community members. Lovely small town. Felt very safe. Close to the town square but tucked away in a quiet corner.

Sofia's house is perfectly located to reach Kato Zakros and Xerocampos in about 15 minutes by car. The apartment is really big, super clean, with all the things you may need. Hour host brought us fruit and sweets to taste in the morning, which was really kind. Visibility of the stars by night in the surroundings (despite being in the village) is a bonus.

friendly and very helpful landlord. spacious and clean apartment, appears to be very new. fully equipped and large kitchen, spacious shower, comfortable beds. in the middle of the town but very quiet at nighttime. In short: you can't beat it!

Spacious, conveniently located in Zakros and sparkling clean! Owner is lovely, extremely helpful and will go the extra mile to make you feel at home. All in all a perfect choice for your stay in East Crete
