Great first stay in Japan

The staff was very helpful from checking in, answering questions, and luggage delivery. Breakfast was nice to have available. The room was modern and clean. The amenities were great water free and gave us two free drinks. The location is about a either 7-15 min walk from the stations which we didn’t mind at all and also close to the shopping in Umeda.

We did wish there were irons in the room and not in other floors in a separate room.

Would recommend

We stayed here in 2023 and again in 2024 and loved it both times. The room was large and comfortable with a big soft bed for 2 people. The doona/comforter could be thicker/warmer but it was enough for April's temperatures. The room was clean (but a bit dusty) with a walk in shower, separate bath and space on the counter for personal products. Staff were absolutely lovely, helpful and happy and check in/out was a breeze. Breakfast was suitable with a mix of western food (Scrambled eggs, Sausages, potato gems and noodles with fruit, cereals and yoghurts) and oriental (soups, rices etc). Pre made coffee orange and apple juice was available (no tea). There is also no room service but you can order take away from the restaurant to eat in your room. Water bottles are available on request from reception at any time. Location is a 7 minute walk to the closest train, and 15 minute walk from the main station. Convenience store is just around the corner and there are some restaurants close by as well. Overall we loved our stay and would recommend! Thank you Moxy for making our Osaka trip that extra bit better.

Fabulous! Close to train station! Clean!

Super clean, great hotel, staff is amazing and just overall a great hotel! The location is perfect and a short walk to Osaka Umeda Station Moxy is a great hotel gain!! It’s a definite stay for anyone going to Osaka

Great experience.

The environment is very cozy and convenient. I like the style of this hotel.

On the third mid-night, when I fell alseep, I suddenly heard the sound of water falling. It was a little bit noisy.

Superb

Breakfast was great. Coin laundry was helpful. Hotel is close to Fukushima train station for getting around Osaka on the Osaka Loop train. Shower was very comfortable. Board games and Salsa dancing lessons were fun.

Room is a little on the small side. No room for chairs that were hanging on the wall. Dinner stops a bit early at 9:30.

Careful with distance to the public transport if you dont feel like to take a taxi!!!

It is little bit far to the Shopping centre, it's about 1.3km

The fridge in the room is too tiny. I cant even put a sandwich into it:(

The hotel was a great size with an amazing homey feel. Staff was super friendly.

Breakfast was simple, yet delicious because it had variety. Location was great since shopping centers and restaurants were nearby. Staff was very respectful, specifically Kirari. She was helpful in booking cabs, recommending restaurants, and making us feel more comfortable with our stay.

There were very few laundry machines, so doing laundry was inefficient.

Clean rooms, daily housekeeping and towels. Board games in reception if wanted to use.

Breakfast was ok. Often hot food had gone cold. Small selection for choice.

The Moxy is a great hotel to base yourself in Osaka and is very comfortable and has a very nice bar and other tea/co

Pleasantly surprised

Great atmosphere, great staff, super friendly and great vibe. Love the vibe at the bar next to lobby, has some arcade games and outdoor area to sit and have a couple of drinks. Bed was large and comfy. Bathroom was spacious and western style.

Cleanliness of hallways wasn't great. Attention to detail was missing. A bit far from main train station.

Great short & calming stay in Osaka

Lots of breakfast choices, Room was great, Bathroom with lots of amenities, Restaurant food is great! The staff were very friendly, and it's just a 10-20min walk to Umeda Station which has access to a lot of things/places.

Rooms a slightly small - again would suggest having a room each if staying with a friend. Slightly out of the main area for seeing sites like Dotonburi (Ideally stay in Chuo Ward for that) but if you don't mind a bit of a travel (explore the metro for example) this works!

Highly recommend

The hotel is clean and modern and the room was big for Japan. The bed was very soft and comfy and there were large thick pillows provided. Comfortable pyjamas provided for men and women, and amenities in the bathroom were great. The shower had a rain head and detachable option and was large. Nice hair-dryer provided and more than enough Power points through the room. The TV even had a Netflix option to sign into your account through a QR code - this was a huge stand out for us that made the room that much more amazing - we could stay in on a cold night with room service and Netflix! The location is good, just a train ride away from almost everything.

The lobby is a mix of reception, bar, restaurant and relax area and was always too busy and crammed. There is the world's smallest fridge in the room, it only just fits one small carton of milk in it, but the worst part is its so noisy! It's the only thing you can hear all night.

Friendly and helpful staff to quickly check me in as I arrived late night. No issue throughout the stay and also enjoyed

Great ambience all around, modern and chic design. The amenities were sufficient for a comfortable spray (decent size for a room in Osaka!) and the fabric spray was a nice touch too. The shower had a rainfall and handheld head which was pretty neat.

The free bottled water were not placed in the room and had to be taken from reception on the first floor.
