It was fine, but it did not add a positive feeling or experience to our trip in Maui.

It wasn’t anything special, it was just fine.

We were directed to go to another place to check in first. They didn’t understand why we were there and had difficulty figuring out our booking. The attendant did the best she could and sent us on our way. Once we arrived at Castle Banyan Maui, we had no idea where we were allowed to park. We could not find the number we were given for our condo. We noticed the office was still open, so we went in there. They were confused as to why we were sent to the other place. They couldn’t understand the paper work that we were given and so they had to contact the owners of the condo. So we had to stand and wait there for quite some time until the owners were able to call the office back. Then we were given the correct information. We were told where we were allowed to park. Things seem to be taking an upward turn. Once we were in our room, we realized there was NO WIFI! The next morning, I messaged the number I had been given to contact the owners and requested a password or if we were able to get Wi-Fi there. In the four days, we stayed there they never once responded. For the price we paid which looked like a reasonable bargain, when you add in the lack of any client care, huge cleaning fees and Taxes, etc. it’s really not a good bargain.

Provided what was advertised, but I was not happy with the maintenance.

The building was properly staffed, from everything I saw. There was always a friendly person at the front desk, and I could see many employees had been hired to keep the grounds clean. The condo matched the description. There was adequate parking. The beach was as advertised, a short walk across the road. The property maintained a pool and hot tub. There were many gas grills. The elevator was convenient although a trifle slow.

As a condo, it had all the kitchen amenities, EXCEPT: - The dishwasher was broken. My wife had to report this twice before a maintenance man showed up. He determined that a piece needed to be replaced, a piece not on hand and had to be ordered. It never came during our stay, which meant we never had access to a working dishwasher. - We could have washed more dishes by hand only there was NO STOPPER for the sink. - There was an infestation of ants most evident on the kitchen counter. My wife and I have a condo in Vail, and we use the kitchen to prepare many meals, especially breakfast and dinner. On Maui, this was difficult, for the above mentioned shortcomings, which resulted in having to buy more $100 lunches and $150 dinners. This adds up, over a nine-day stay.

The beds were very comfortable. The room and linens were clean. The partial ocean view was available if you were willing to risk a 90 degree angle over the balcony. I tried once. The partial ocean view should be removed from the description.

Disappointing

The location was beautiful right across the street was it gorgeous beach. We paid extra for a few of the beach there was no view you had to reach out off the balcony to see the ocean. Rooms with very small.

We didn't get breakfast...nor did we get in our room the same night as we arrived. We had to pay for another hotel room as hotel.com did not send our email with room and code until the next day. HOWEVER. Kasper was quite helpful and made our stay very pleasant

We would stay again. But book through the resort and not through this company.

The room was good. The pool was awesome. Staff were great.

We had booked two rooms. We were only given access to one on arrival. Even though they provided an upgrade to a bigger room, the bed configuration didn’t suit our family. We didn’t realise that cleaning or fresh towels wasn’t apart of our package.

I was overall disappointed in the stay, especially the staff.

I liked that the unit had a full kitchen, a washer/dryer, and had two bathrooms.

I took stuff to the car at 8:30 AM and the staff attempted to come into the unit while I was at the car. My daughter was still in the unit and was not properly dressed when this happened. I made a second trip down to the car a few minutes later (being uncomfortable, this time my daughter came with me) and when I got back up to the unit, the staff was already inside. This was 2 hours before checkout.

The property was close to the beach

I was given the wrong room number in my confirmation email, then the pin to get into my condo didn’t work for the first 2 days of my stay, no housekeeping but there was a cleaning fee anyways, management is off site at a completely deferent location, had to request then go and pick up new sheets/towels/soap Coffee maker and silverware were filthy, I would not recommend this place to anybody I like trust or respect.

Location and parking is great, you can walk right out to Kihei Beach

Big kitchen with an island, had all necessary items to cook. Since we did early morning hikes and came home late at night, was ideal to have a fully stocked kitchen and fridge to store leftover poke, and make spam masubis for our hikes.

I requested ocean view, and it was pretty much a side view from the balcony, a little disappointing. Due to covid office hours were shortened and due to our itinerary we were never able to be there to change rooms for the one we requested. Otherwise it was great.

Great stay in a clean room.

The accommodation was clean and met our expectations. The view from the balcony was surprisingly good for sunset but otherwise it does look out over the parking garage, but was labeled as a partial view of the beach, so not upset.

It would be helpful if the accommodation was more clear that this is separate from the "Castle Maui Banyan". It is a private accommodation inside that establishment and the front desk will give you the parking pass, but they do not provide any other services beyond that. We didn't have any problems, but if you do, know that you can't go to the front desk for help. You have to go through the owner of the room.

Don't let this place ruine the beautiful Maui experience

Way too overpriced for what we got. A very old hotel room with 2 little and very uncomfortable beds, a tiny bathroom and just a minibar & coffee machine. Everything old and dusty. We checked in after 10pm and they couldn't find our reservation, the lady on the phone was very rude and helpless. We could only get into the room by 11.30pm thanks to a security guy who helped us. Visitors can only park in the 4th floor WITH NO ELEVATOR!!

Disappointed

Pool, grills, location to beach and close to restaurants.

Our room G510A was nothing more than a two bed motel room. Dirty carpet, air conditioner did not cool the room. We thought our room would have a kitchen like other rooms but no! No washer or dryer to wash clothes and took over four days to get fresh linens. Very disappointed in room.
