The gardens were designed beautifully. We enjoyed wandering around looking at the roses. The renovation to the church have been done to a high standard, which made our stay very comfortable.

This place was brilliant. Comfortable, stylish and really well equipped. There was even a salad spinner. We had not expected the large and comfortable back veranda (an external room really) or the extensive and lovely gardens. We had several games of boule, ably assisted by the white rooster from next door and used some of the herbs from the garden in cooking. The Church is about a ten minute drive to Gloucester, a small town with two supermarkets and a bakery called Batter & Dough with fabulous bread and cakes. The Visitor Information Centre in Gloucester is a great resource.

We loved everything about our 2 night stay. This place has everything you need and more. Perfectly cleaned and stocked. Comfortable bed and lounges. Loved the little kitchen extras which made preparing dinner easy. Fluffy doona and towels which matter to me. Well done Stephen and Co.

Amazing accommodation in such an amazing building! We loved staying in the old church and reading about it's history. Everything you need to feel at home is provided and a lot of activities are available in the surroundings!

Bed was good quality, but not great (I think it might have been memory foam, not inner spring), but I have a dodgy back so am a bit fussy about these things.

I like to stay in accommodation that is a bit different and unique. This experience exceeded my expectations and we really enjoyed reading about the history of the church rebuild and how it was connected to the surrounding community. The artworks and display items all tied into the whole story about the church. All of the fittings, furniture and inclusions were of the highest quality. The grounds were unique as well including an array of plants and a fabulous herb & fruit garden with soft lighting surrounding the walkways. We were kept nice and warm with air conditioning as it was quite cool during our stay. We used this spot as a base for exploring the pristine Gloucester & Barrington countryside.

The Church at Barrington was a fantastic place to stay. A great location just a short drive away from Gloucester and several National Parks. The church has been beautifully renovated, the kitchen has everything you could possibly need, and bedroom and living areas are comfy and cosy. We stayed on a very cold weekend in early June and the air con kept us toasty warm. The gardens are beautiful and the back deck would be a lovely place to hang out in the warmer months. Staying at the church was a real privilege and I hope to visit again sometime.

The Church at Barrington is stunning. The owners have lovingly restored the building retaining its character while bringing the facilities into the 21st century. It was warm, quiet and very peaceful inside. I can't recommend this place highly enough!
