About this condo rental
Nestled in Lower Grand Lagoon, this lovely condo for £376 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. BEACHFRONT condo on the 3rd floor. PERFECT FOR FAMILIES. With 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. This spacious unit will comfortably sleep 8 in beds plus 2 on sleeper sofa for a total of 10. The beach and beachside pool are just steps away from your balcony. You can watch your kids swim at the pool from the balcony. All photos are from this exact unit and were taken recently! Our 3rd FLOOR unit at the Watercrest is BEACH FRONT located at the center of the building and has a nice view of the pool as well as the wonderful gulf front, beach views. Not all Watercrest units have a pool view, ours does. It also has a DIRECT GULF FRONT unobstructed view of the beach from the kitchen, den, and two of the bedrooms. This unit is 1440 sq feet! We have two gulf front master bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Both have king beds and both have balcony access. The third bedroom has two Queen Beds. The living room has a queen size pull out couch. Free high speed internet is provided. Each of the three bedrooms have their own bath, stocked with plenty of towels and wash cloths for your convenience. You'll enjoy the many amenities that Watercrest has to offer. The Watercrest has a tennis court, a shuffle ball court and, indoor racquetball court. We have a large pool, a kiddy pool, a huge hot tub, men’s and women's fitness rooms each with a dry sauna. There are also charcoal grills on the grounds.

The unit was clean, comfortable, and beautiful. Perfect layout allowed us all to have private space. This is our 3rd time staying at the Watercrest, and now it feels like our 2nd home. My only complaint would be the hot water. When we arrived it didn’t seem to be working, but we learned the next day that it took a long time to heat up. It only allowed for 1 shower every couple hours; some of us learned this the hard (cold) way. The screens on the slider were broken, but there are no bugs in December, so that didn’t affect our stay. The hot water handle in one en-suite leaked, but that didn’t really affect us. We just put a towel down to soak up the leak. I think the communication delays were my fault, so maybe that should’ve been a 5.
Overall, it was a beautiful way to enjoy the quieter side of PCB over Christmas break.

We've been going to PCB for years staying on Thomas Drive. This was our first year staying her and our group really enjoyed it!

Stay was good but reall need to look at tolit handle in master, it stays on resulting in constant running of tolit if someone isnt aware - causing huge water loss. I watched it others may not. Also shower drains are extremely slow. This info is just an fyi for you to check. Other than that everything was fine. Thankyou. Was very clean.

Property Manager was easy to work with, kept us informed of all happenings. Condo was as advertised, and is in good shape. Seems to be a newer property in PCB compared to others. Be advised this is not a gated property, if that means anything to you, it didnt matter to us. Overall very pleasant time and a very good location.

The property was just as pictured! It was perfect for our family, and the location is amazing. Coffee in the morning and dinner on the porch could not have been more relaxing. The Beach is. Right. There. On the beach in a few minutes, and it's easy to get back to the condo for lunch or just a break. The pool was wonderful and clean, and we all enjoyed evening pool time. The elevators were quick, and unloading your car coming and going was easy because of the carts provided. This property is in a quieter part of Panama City but close to everything. Walmart, restaurants, and fish markets were all within a few minutes. The property had plenty of room for the nine of us, and we never felt cramped. To be honest, it was the best place we have stayed at in a long time. Our property manager, Jonathan, was very helpful. He was always quick to answer my many questions. We will be back!

We enjoyed the condo , it was room enough for 7 of us comfortably. But the 2 master bedrooms are in need of new mattresses. A recliner would be a nice touch to add.

This was our first time to Panama City and we will definitely be back! The condo was as listed….and served the purpose for a one week family vacation. The washer wasn’t working the first night … I emailed the host and the next day a repair man came out and fixed it…. I was impressed !
We enjoyed being on the 3rd floor… but sitting outside on the balcony was nearly impossible due to a couple of rowdy neighbors. But… not our hosts fault. All in all.. it was a very nice week.

We enjoyed our stay and the condo fit our needs perfectly. The only issue we had was the washer and dryer combo unit is very noisy. It still functions, just loud. We had no long waits for the elevators. Parking was super easy and plenty of parking spaces. This was a very quite community and made for a relaxing trip. We would recommend and stay at this unit again.

This was absolutely a perfect stay for our family. It was quiet, friendly and relaxing. My 88 yr old mother sat on the deck and watched us in the pool and on the beach. She felt like she was involved in it all. The condo itself is completely redecorated and felt like a home. The beds were all comfortable with nice linens. The sitting area was comfortable and we played many games around the table. It’s really as gorgeous as the pics. We loved having the three bedrooms and private baths. The pool has a small snack shop/bar and we walked to a couple nearby happy hours. The people were very friendly. The pool had taller chairs and chaises. It looks as though the rest of the condo is beginning to be updated as well. We highly recommend this for family trips. The beach was gorgeous and the man renting the chairs was great. Jet ski rentals and banana boy rides right out front too.

I booked this for a last-minute getaway. I chose it because of the furnishings style, the proximity to the beach and the price point. I had been looking at more expensive properties that didn’t have an ocean view. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting it to be all that great… I was just hoping it would be “acceptable”. I was very pleasantly surprised – it was excellent!
This rental is not opulent. However, the unit was very clean. The appliances and furnishings are in good condition with a nice beachy style. The view was terrific. The pool and spa were very clean. We had the patio doors open for most of our stay so we could listen to the waves --- and we didn’t have to worry about crowd noise. The pictures provided in the rental listing are accurate.
This condo is in an older area… but the condition of the property was very good. When compared to other areas closer to Pier Park or Seaside, we found this location to be quieter and we could easily get to shopping and restaurants without the stagnant traffic. The beach in the panhandle this time of year is not as busy as the summer – but in some places there are still huge crowds. The beach outside of this condo had a few people on it throughout the day – but no big crowds.
A building like this on the ocean takes a beating and weather/salt air can ruin the facilities very quickly if not properly maintained. The property is an older building, but the maintenance staff is excellent – you will see them every day quietly going about their business of keeping the building, the pool, the landscaping, etc. in top condition.
For a condo that is rented much of the year, we were very happy with the overall condition. The only improvement I suggested to the management company was updating the dishes and cookware – they’re looking a bit overused.

Have never stayed at Water Crest, this was our first time staying in this unit on PCB, we usually stay at the condo 2 blocks down, this place was very roomy for all of our family, would definitely stay here again, the condo is very nice and updated, and this place is to convenient to everything, really like the fact that they keep this building super clean, they clean the stairwells, elevators, pool area daily, they keep it secured daily, the elevators worked perfectly, and love being on the 3rd floor, didn’t have any noise from the pool area at all! Will be staying here again next year! So glad to find this place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great location, one of best views of ocean I have ever had, close to everything. It was really as described. I will say the ice maker is a normal freezer unit, not a stand alone. There was an ice vending machine on the property though so we did not really have to leave for anything. If we didn’t want to.

had some minor issues which were addressed as soon as reported. However, the condos were severely policed and made all staying there uncomfortable. no playing in pool and guards were strict to point of rude. 1 homeowner was very angry and rude to renters. Would stay again if not in this condo tower and elevators on both ends were out

Dump on The Beach
This was the worst, nastiest, place we’ve ever stayed And cost double! Broken leg on the couch, freezer door completely broken unusable, no ice maker, patio screen door full of hazardous holes. One king bed had hollowed sides! Nasty floors, countertops, bathrooms etc. balcony is a hazardous for babies!
Disappointed is not enough to say!

I would say the overall appearance of the condo interior was average. I felt a little cramped with our four adults and two children. The ceiling height in the bathrooms was low, just a little above the door molding. Problems: the couch was missing a leg so the left side was on the floor and the right side was about five inches higher (this I thought was unacceptable), the ice maker didn't work, the freezer door handle kept coming unattached and the cable in the two queen bedroom didn't work. A call to the rental agency produced no results when I made a complaint. There was not one extra trash bag, two dishwasher tabs, no detergent for the washer and a minimum of toilet paper -- all in all not a big deal but for this amount of money I would expect a little more. I thought bath towels were low quality, barely big enough to dry off. On the plus side the dishwasher, washer and dryer worked well and ran quiet. Some people might like it but the 3rd floor balcony being right above the pool was pretty noisy when sitting out. I thought the exterior and design of the building was really nice and the condo maintenance staff was very active keeping up the exterior.

Watercrest, in my opinion, is one of the best kept secrets in PCB. I’ve been going there to different units throughout the last 14 years. The only issue that I had with this unit, #304, was the cleanliness of this unit. The floors were filthy. They didn’t appear to have been mopped in a while. My comforter had food on it. 😳I just pushed the comforter to the side. I had to wash the pillow covers and blanket because they stunk. 🤦🏻♀️I’m sure that the cleaners are pushed extremely hard to get their units clean in a timely manner but mopping the floors and washing the bed covers is essential to an inviting atmosphere. Before I left I washed all of the towels with exception of maybe three and two wash cloths. I swept and cleaned the sinks and counters. I’m not extremely picky but cleanliness is a necessity for me.
