A stones throw away from JH Adams Inn and walking distance to many restaurants such as Sweet Old Bills BBQ, Tipsy’s Tacos, Sweet Josephine’s bakery and an award winning craft brewery, Brown Truck Brewery. Minutes to High Point University, HP Market and the new Rockers Baseball Stadium. THINGS TO NOTE: - ADDITIONAL GUESTS WILL ONLY BE ALLOWED UPON REQUEST, AND GIVEN PERMISSION. - We RENT ONLY to couples, families, and responsible adults 21 and OLDER. - Quiet hours are 10pm-8am. -Parking is available behind the house. - Pets are allowed, but we must be notified and approve prior to your stay. If pets will join your stay, they must be house trained and we ask all animals to be crated if you leave the home. Please pick up any waste left in the yard by your pet(s). -Guests are subject to additional cleaning fees if extra cleaning is required from the pets or excessive cleaning is needed in the home.

Had an amazing Christmas Holiday with the family. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. I was so impressed with everything in the house. There was even a Christmas tree set up when we got there which was very exciting to the little ones. Will definitely book again

This beautiful home was centrally located near all our events for a friend’s wedding. Self check in/out was made easy with a key code. The welcome basket & other amenities were very nice. The home was very comfortable, spacious and nicely decorated. We enjoyed relaxing here between events. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The owners have done a wonderful job restoring a historic home to a lovely level of comfort and design. Many thoughtful amenities were included (kcups, snack basket, hairdryer). The linens and mattresses were high quality. The front porch is as beautiful as pictured and perfect for a relaxing afternoon. Super close to High Point University so it made for a great stay for family weekend. This is a great VRBO property and communication with the owners was pleasant and responsive. My only suggestion would be to figure out a landscaping solution to the backyard. Shade from a large tree prevents grass from growing so the ground is either very dry dirt or wet and muddy after a rain. Since this was our main entry and exit, we felt that we were tracking a lot of dirt into the house. Not a huge concern but would be a great addition to have that addressed somehow. Hoping we have another family trip to HPU to allow us a return visit to this lovely home!

This home was such an amazing vacation rental. It was well-stocked, and had everything you needed. The decor was beautiful, and the back yard was such a peaceful oasis, particularly for our little ones. I hope we can come back soon!

We loved the house. So beautifully appointed and clean. We were able to relax and just enjoy being nearby restaurants, brewery, coffee shops. Less than 5 minutes from High Point University. We loved it!

Close to campus, super clean and comfy and fenced in backyard if you bring your dog! Walking distance to great coffee and restaurant options. Owners are easy to work with and very accommodating. Definitely will stay here again!

Beautifully decorated home located conveniently in High Point. The house had all the amenities for an easy stay. It's a spacious home with room to gather together and room for privacy. It was perfect for our Girl's Weekend getaway!

Shh! Our experience was so nice, we are inclined to keep this a "best-kept secret" so we don't have competition for future availability! The hosts thought of everything you could need for a short stay. The house decor is absolutely beautiful, and the Christmas touches throughout were a very welcome touch...and can we talk about that porch swing? Come on! We can't wait to plan a stay when the weather is nice so we can take full advantage of that! The bedrooms were all comfortably furnished, and we loved coming in from the cold weather to enjoy the coffee bar in the kitchen. Aside from a lovely home, we appreciated the prompt replies to our questions from the hosts. We definitely recommend this rental! Thank you to our hosts!

Absolutely perfect! The location of this home was perfect. Close walk to restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Our meetings were at High Point University and it is a close 5 min drive. Parking is available and easy Fully stocked and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was stocked like a home not a rental. It was easy to cook full meals. The front porch is great for a morning cup of coffee or afternoon wine. Back yard would be great to hang out around the fire.

My brother and I planned a 90th birthday trip for our mother, starting in High Point. Kerry & Ryan’s home was absolutely beautiful with no detail overlooked! The front porch was our favorite spot for morning coffee and afternoon relaxing. We would absolutely recommend the Johnston’s home for anyone looking for luxury and comfort away from home. We stayed at the house for our daughter’s graduation from Wake Forest. The house was perfect- so cute and comfortable. It had everything we needed and was so much better than staying at a hotel. We loved gathering in the morning on the porch for coffee. We had a wonderful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights! 6 of us came from different parts of NC to share time together. The home is beautiful and wonderfully appointed with everything you need. Through the course of our stay we had a couple of questions for Ryan and Kerry and they were remarkably accessible and helpful. We highly recommend this location and would stay again without thinking twice about it!!

The online listing is what sold us but even considering how great the property looked, it exceeded our expectations. The hosts jad decorated the house for the holidays with a couple of Christmas trees, beautiful holiday table settings, lights and and impeccably decorated house. The whole house seems so thoughtfully appointed. We came from as far away as California and up and down the East Coast and loved our visit there. Nicely done.

My husband and I shared this home with another couple.. several choices for socializing. Backyard fire pit, front porch seating, and spacious den. The kitchen is well appointed and quite large. Bedding linens and bath towels luxurious. Location is in the heart of the johnson street historic district. Convenient and very safe. Will definitely stay again.

This house felt like home! The property was clean and comfortable, and no detail was overlooked. The front porch was amazing and where we spent most of our time.
