This phenomenal 4 bedroom oceanfront rental is perfect for a small family vacation. The common grass area is shared amongst the 4 units. Please note that due to recent weather predicaments the backyard isn't at it's full size as sink holes have formed. Parking: 2 Car Garage Additional parking is available at our office, located at 1640 Oceanside Blvd., Oceanside CA 92054. (***PERMIT IS REQUIRED to PARK AT OUR OFFICE. We brought in 2024 at this property and truly enjoyed hearing the waves crashing against the rocks. It was a great way to celebrate the New Year! There are a lot of fun things to do downtown and nearby cities.

This is about our stay during this time. Your stay could be different from ours. We too have a vacation rental and appreciate honest reviews.
Check in process and communication could not have been better. We are very familiar with the Oceanside area so we were very pleased with the location. Most activities, restaurants, breweries etc., are walkable.
The house is very large and accommodating which was great for the nine adults and one child in our group. Well equipped for cooking and serving and plenty of towels. Very clean, of course being right on the ocean you can see a few rust spots here and there but that is unpreventable and unavoidable. This did not deter the fact that the place is beautiful!
Living room doors that open fully to enjoy the ocean breeze and sound. The ocean is right at your feet, so to speak. The beds were all comfortable and all felt fresh. The garage is tight to park in but it is very clean. We parked on the street as it was easier for us. Pay attention to the parking signs though! I do agree with one review that the kitchen chairs do feel like you are sitting in a bucket but they are still ok to use. One of the outside tables could use some work on it as well as it is very wobbly. Other than those minor things the place is awesome!
I would recommend staying here and we are already trying to figure out another stay.

The condo was exactly as listed and decorated with style. The property managers were in constant contact before and during our stay. We did notice that the front gate code did not work but access was otherwise so smooth and without a hitch that I could not bring myself to bother them.
Everything you need is there. We only brought food and water.
A few thoughts: the condo gets tons of light and that is a good thing but curtains to block all that light at night might be nice for the rooms. We brought sleep masks. The neighbors had a kitchen fire and a 2am car accident so just be aware that there may be a lot going on around you - our party in the front didn’t even notice for the constant, awesome sound of the breaking waves!
Although the ocean is right in front of you (dolphins and surfers and sailboats too) it is a 10 minute walk to the beach which is protected by a strip of rocks so just be prepared for walking over them.
Overall we had a fantastic time. We would head back right now if we could. The condo is well maintained and leaves you with nothing be positive vibes and memories. Thank you so much:)

View was absolutely gorgeous but the place itself was not worth the money. Carpet was stained it was the first thing we saw. Furniture was worn out clean looking but the springs the foam under chairs was not supportive and carpet in the bathroom in the second bathroom. One screen was ripped, one window didn't even have a screen the front gate was rusted out didn't lock etc. for the money they just need to invest in the furniture and get rid of the carpet fix the screens etc.

Lovely oceanfront, upper level condo. 2 of the 4 bedrooms are quite small, but it wasn’t a problem for our group. Views of sunsets from the living/dining area were hard to beat.

The kitchen was minimally supplied. Cookware is old and worn.

My issue was no beach we could sit at for miles. Very rocky area. The listing said a beach was close by, we could not find it. Also the firepit had work being done and was closed off. I looked for properties with fire pits so this was very disappointing.
The house itself was better then what I thought it would be. The views are unbelieveable.

Fireplace in living room is broken and some new frying pans/pots would be a great update. The light switches were often confusing (automatic shut off) and very very bright blue lights that are built into the light switches - not a problem overall but in the bedrooms it was a bit much. Getting into the property was a little confusing but we eventually figured it out. There is a shared space right below the balcony with three other apartments but it didn't really impact anyone. Never wanted to leave the balcony. Dolphins, seals, gorgeous ocean + F A M I L Y that we hadn't seen in way too long....we all really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again.

This upper level home is very clean with great amenities. The furniture and carpet are like new. Any problems are handled immediately and with professionalism. It would be helpful to put a sign down below in the backyard that the grassy yard is for the four units. On our arrival we found the guests in the bottom unit had taken over the entire yard with their very large group. They were definitely having a good time!

Would definitely come back!
We had a very nice time. Location was great! The only complaint I have was the sound system did not work for the tv. Had to buy batteries for the remote also. Other than that it has everything you would need.

The condo is situated with a stunning view of the ocean. Access to the beach is very nearby but be aware that it's still a bit of a scramble especially carrying gear and a baby. There were many pluses to the condo itself: 2 car garage parking (albeit tiny garages - we lost a side mirror), spacious living and kitchen (you may want to bring your own knives and pans as these ones are pretty difficult to use if you like cooking), and comfortable beds and great bathrooms/showers. I don't mean to be negative about this - just informative. Other amenities that were wonderful to have access to include a laundry room, copious room fans as it did get quite warm around sunset, beautiful deck overlooking the ocean, and plenty of media to access from the television. One real issue that needs attention from the property owners: it's next to impossible to get a good night's sleep between the sheerness of the window treatments and the incredibly bright blue indicator lights on every single light switch. I mean, beyond bright blue lights on the light switches; I could practically read by these things even when it was pitch black outside. One bedroom didn't even have window treatments but we called and they sent someone out to install a (totally sheer) roller blind. So moral of the story, bring sleep masks unless you are not bothered by the indicator lights and dawn.

The WiFi wasn’t working at all during our stay, The management had to send somebody to come In and out of our stay which was very unpleasant having strangers going in and out because of the Internet, they couldn’t fix it due to having a bad modem and scheduled a technician to come in the house the next day to fix it, but wasn’t able to fix it anyways. The views were nice except the fact that we weren’t warned of how loud the construction thats happening “adjacent” from our view, it was ringing our ears the whole time, couldn’t even open our windows because it was so loud and annoying. We had to walk out somewhere just so we have peace for at least 1 hour from the drilling of the rocks. The construction. Was working so late that you can see the sparks from the tools against the rocks, oh and this was again for our whole stay. One of my toddlers got her toes cut and bled due to having nails sticking out from the master bedroom to the living room carpet, reported all these incidents but can’t do anything right away so they want to bother the next following day to fix this, there were 7 nails that the maintenance took out. He worked for maybe 29 mins or 30 mins. Just imaging strangers going in and out of your paid vacation stay. It’s very annoying. We already gave up on the Internet; the annoying drilling outside; but we needed those nails out sinceWe got toddlers. Other than this, I know how it’s newly renovated but they also left some screws and nails for the new modeled walk in closet, the toddlers played with the pile of screws that were left off the ground or the corner part of the closet. Once I tried to ask for some compensation , the management seems to have a bad communicati

The house is very nice and Beachfront was very responsive until the air conditioning stopped working. The air was not working when we arrived and Beachfront sent out a repairman who fixed it for 4 days. It started not cooling again and and we called Beachfront. They sent their maintenance man who took a air flow reading of 72 degrees from vent - the air was set at 70- and told us it was working. Being from AZ and googling what air flow should be, I knew it should be significantly cooler that the set temp. I intentionally rented for the air from past experiences in CA. The back bedrooms at night would be in the 80s and hard to sleep. After continued attempts to talk to a manager I gave up- If you are getting this place and paying more for air - don't plan on it- BUYER BEWARE

This was our last family getaway before my youngest leaves for college, everyone loved it! The housekeeping was great, very clean. They took care of everything. It was easy to get help immediately, to figure out the locks LOL :) and they were all very kind! Will definitely use BeachFront Only again!

Very clean with beautiful view
We had a great time during our weekend stay in this beautiful house. The check-in process was a bit confusing. I received an email and a text with different codes but the customer service was very helpful and they helped me figure it out very fast.
There was also a very minor issue about one of the beds being squeaky, other than that everything else was perfect. We really enjoyed the house and the neighborhood.

I have stayed at this unit twice now. Prior to my last stay, the master bedroom was the most gorgeous room connected to a master bathroom. During this stay, they have "chopped up" the floor plan to add another very small bedroom by putting up a wall. I did have some issues for 2 days with the cleaning of this unit, but the company DID make wrong right and for that reason, I will be staying here again. I have booked with Beachfront Only 6 times, and I will say, they do their very best to accommodate any issues one might have. I would reccommend this unit.
