La Ubicacion

The location (near bus stop). Reasonable price. Reliable internet. Responsive host.

Bedrooms were in basement which was a musty, and sheets did not look super clean (worn and fluff on them- at first glance looks like stains/dirt). Toilet seat slipped sideways when you sat on it (a screw missing it seems). A few dead spiders found in closet/under bed- did not seem like a thorough clean was done before we arrived. Only two rolls of toilet paper available- should have more stock.

The apartment was clean and big enough for a family of 4 with two large teenagers. The kitchen had everything we needed and a large fridge. The apartment is kept very warm by central heating. The owner is lovely and communicates immediately. It is close to a very good ski hire shop and is walking distance to all the local shops (including an excellent Fromagerie). Les Houches has easy access to all the ski slopes and the train for the Ice Cave.
