This property offers dock space for 2 boats max. Electric accessible near dock. Comfortable, cozy, rustic cabin/apt. Kayaks available, large patio fire-pit area. 2 miles from Fortune Bay Casino and The Wilderness Golf Course. Cabin offers 6 beds, double ovens, full kitchen supplies for cooking, along with an outdoor gas grill. Beautiful sunrises! Good fishing for Walleye, Bass, Northern & Musky. Close to airport & the town of Tower, Mn. 3 night minimum stays. While we we do accept dogs, we do ask for a maximum of 2 dogs. Must be well mannered, people and pet friendly and well trained. 6 to 8(MAXIMUM) guests allowed!! Note:***We do have WiFi available, but very limited at times. If you’re needing to connect for work or school, that may not be possible at times*** we do live on property, and are here for any questions or problems that may come up. At the same time, we try to give our guests as much privacy as possible 😊

The property and cabin were perfect for our party of 6. The hosts are great, they live on the same property but give you plenty of privacy. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to spend time on vermillion or the surrounding area.

Property was very nice. Enjoyed a cup of coffee while watching the sunrise over the Lake. Rented to attend a wedding so did not get to fully enjoy Lake Vermillion. Beautiful property with Lake access. Would definitely recommend.

Nice place to stay right on the lake. Had a pier for our boats. Nice sleeping quarters. Very friendly and helpful hosts.

Six of us were on an annual fishing trip. There was plenty of room and it was very comfortable.The cabin was very nice and well equipped. The owners were friendly and very accommodating. Thanks for letting us stay with you and we hope to come back next year.

What can I say? This is a BEAUTIFUL location on Lake Vermillion. Met one of the owners (lives on property), and he was very friendly and gave a great recommendation for dinner. Hopefully we can get up there again some day!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hosts were very accommodating, and let us check in early because it was available. They also provided us with an extension cord so we could charge the batteries on our boat. And everything was nicer that it appeared in the pictures, and we were able to pull right up to the door to load/ unload our stuff.

Beautiful cabin right on the water with deck and fire pit. We had two dogs with. No fenced yard but plenty of private space for walking them. As a bonus my wife won a bunch at the nearby casino and up the road at the Ely bear center they have a nature trail with wild birds that will eat out of your hand. Next time we will get out on the lake which is supper clean.

Great Weekend!
We went with a group of 6 for a ling weekend getaway. This place was everything it shows online & more. Cabin is cozy, clean and perfect for 6 people. Deck is amazing and nightly campfires ended a great day. This place is really nice! Easy to find, nice spot on the lake.

Great boathouse with fire pit!
Great rental. Had to contend with some pretty unstable weather (40’s at night) at the end of June. Bring camping chairs for sitting by the fire. They had some, but they were pretty worn. Caught my personal best musky (46.5 inches). Awesome way to end the trip!

Fishing trip
Can't say enough good things about our cabin on Vermilion. Spacious with comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, large living room, and a patio w/fire pit above the boathouse. Our hosts, Darren and Jodi made sure we had everything needed and made our stay that much better. Well located in Pike Bay, protected from the large waves that Vermilion is known for, with a marina nearby if you need fuel. Did I mention the fishing ? walleye heaven ! And bass as well. 5 stars across the board !

My three sons, grandson, and I stayed here while on a 3 day fishing trip at Lake Vermilion. Checking in was a breeze-I emailed Jody an inquired about an early check in and she was very accommodating. The cabin itself was very nice—large enough and very well stocked—even plenty of coffee! We used the outside grill to cook up steaks to go with our freshly caught walleye! We interacted a few times with Darren while he was in the large yard and we were going to and from our boat—he was always very pleasant. Overall a very enjoyable weekend and will be back next year.

We have dogs and they were so welcoming to them, which made our stay even better. Lots of trails and places to explore. The best part (although there were many) was the fire pit patio overlooking the lake, we lived there. It was cool and we had a fire burning most of the day. Our hosts made sure we were stocked with wood and made us feel very welcome with their kindness. I would highly recommend this spot!

Loved this property! Very nicely done inside and the outside deck/fire pit was great! My only constructive criticism would be that the furniture could use updating. Living room furniture was broken and some of the beds were very uncomfortable.

A beautiful place right on the water, with quiet walking, or quick drive into Tower. Only 30min from Ely! We loved the cabin layout, with enough beds for us all and a big kitchen area. One bathroom to share, but we easily made it work with 5 women!

Beautiful setting
The accomodation was comfortable although the mattress we slept on was sagging. There was no heat getting to the room we slept in, so we were offered a space heater that was adequate. The unit had a couple of minor maintenance issues that the host addressed immediately to our satisfaction. The setting is so serene and beautiful. The location was ideal for our purposes of hiking and sightseeing. We would stay here again.
