Beautifully appointed restored historical house. Upon entering it felt like home. Comfortable with a touch of quirkiness by means of unique pieces around that tie in with the Georgian era along with the option of modern aspects (TV/Netflix), Nespresso Coffee etc. Ever so quiet it was peaceful and the recharge that we needed after attending a wedding at the nearby Waterton Hall. The historical aspect of the area was very interesting and the books available to read around about the home were insightful. Lovely to come in to a place where the space is respected and the pantry has essential items (oil, herbs/spices, mustards, sugar, tea, flour, rice) to which you add as you leave - replace what you use. Also the wet areas had shampoo/conditioner/laundry powder/dishwashing liquid/bin bags/air freshener - just a little bit of everything!!! The log fire with ample wood (although we ended up buying kindling) was the perfect end to a day with a glass of the local Pinot from the nearby vineyards Iron Pot Bay and Holm Oak. The underfloor heating in the bathrooms was an extra that was greatly welcomed!! Although it was a bit chilly on the verandah it was lovely to sit and take in the views of the gorgeous gardens, the River Tamar and if you were lucky a few Wallabies!! Thank you for sharing your home with our family - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great house been done up perfectly much attention to detail lots of extras I was not expecting like underfloor heating in the bathrooms.
