This home was built in 1956 - one of the first on the block. In keeping with the spirit of the 50s I have tried to keep the integrity of the house (with the original ceiling and brick) but have modernized it with an open floor plan, and huge deck expansion -- complete with a 10-person outdoor seating and fire pit area.
