We rented Ray ‘s cottage in beautiful Plum Island for a week, and we had a wonderful time. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and 5 minutes walk from the beach. Ray was always ready to help and had great suggestions for place to eat. We would love to come back next year!

We are an elderly couple who rented the top half of the house for a week to be near our family. The property is compact and well laid out, the kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils, the appliances are updated, and the living room is comfortable. Communication with Ray was wonderful--he always replied quickly and responded to a minor issue right away. This property is very convenient for renters who want quick and easy access to the water and eating establishments--the island's convenience stores, restaurants, and ice cream shops are only a few steps away, as is the town beach. Renters seeking a quiet ocean retreat probably should choose a different property, since it is right on the main street coming into the island. We gave the location 4 stars rather than 5 because the busy-ness of the area was not our cup of tea, but that probably is exactly what would attract families and younger people.!
