No room cleaning, even though in the booking they charged AED 300, for room cleaning. Lot of noise from parking speed bumps in basement.

Actually we have selected 2 different rooms, one for 2, another for 3 family members. First one located on 8th(9th) floor with pool / beach area view and second with imposant view on Burj Al-Arab / Burj Khalifa. Both breathtaking… apartments were spacious and clean. Actually all facilities throughout resort were perfectly clean. Resort staff were highly focused to maintain everywhere relaxing silence. Complete staff were helpful and all the time with smile on the faces. We have enjoy time also at Lotus lounge where Mika made our romantic evening more lovely. Thank you complete The Luxe Getaways holiday home and Anantara resort team for making our stay fantastic experience…!!

There’s nothing we haven’t really like. I would maybe only recommend to review at each apartment kitchen ware items as we had limited glasses/cups and soup plates.

Anantara Resort is superb, the amount of greenery, what is after all a desert, is outstanding, and the layout of it with all the pools makes all the difference. Nice short walk to superbly maintained beach is refreshing in the morning. The Bushman's restaurant is superb, beach service is nice as well. Other restaurants are OK. Luxe Gateway's apartment is of a decent size, aircon works well, bed is comfortable, bathroom and an extra toilet were both good as well, kitchen and washing facilities are OK, balcony is huge. Their staff is great and tries to help. Top marks to France (our hostess' name). I would recommend the place as, the probably, best in Dubai.

Oh, where do I start. 1. Assumptions - everyone has a smart phone. Well, I don't. So comms via WhatsApp will not work. Mega stress as no check in instructions sent via email up to us boarding the plane. So had to call them directly to sort it out. But, it was sorted out. Not their (Luxe Gateways) fault that I am old. 2. Parking -designated parking assigned, but most of the time not available. Issue with the new security, apparently. Took 8-9 days to resolve. Again, not their (Luxe Gateways) fault Anantara's security is not up to spec. 3. Beach - facilities. Beach is great, but no facilities to change. Cannot understand why. Maybe place is for youngsters that do not mind sitting in a wet swimsuit. I used one of the drinks places to change behind the fridge. Hey, adventure, eh? Not their (Luxe Gateways) fault that Anantara didn't put these up. 4. Apartment - this is supposed to be 5 star place. The state of the room doesn't justify that. Missing cutlery (one spoon only - yes we did ask for another one), crockery and glassware in the kitchen, wobbly kitchen tap, no tray in the shower (there was one but not there any more), no table on the terrace, rendering it useless, TV that we simply couldn't work out how to use (although a man came out to fix it, after he left we were still baffled), etc. All little things, but this is where they (Luxe Getaways) need to up their game (pull their socks up, as we old people would say) and do much better maintenance of their valuable property. 5. Listing - offers two choices, holiday home and apartment. Holiday home is not a villa, which overlooks the pool. It is apartment in the main hotel buildings, as well. Not sure what the difference is. That could be made more clear on the listing descriptions. Again this is where they (Luxe Gateways) need to be smarter and avoid their guest setting up expectations and then getting disappointed.

Only the fact that the beach is close. That’s it.

Where do I start. Check in was delayed 3 hours - I didn’t get my room until 6pm. When I did, it was FILTHY. A smell of urine hit you when entering. After some complaint they tried to find me another room. Still dated but marginally cleaner. The furniture is old, it is not well maintained. Numerous lightbulbs were out. There was NO daily cleaning to my surprise - they wanted to charge extra for each clean. The rental was operated by Luxe Getaways - check the small print. avoid them at all costs. I was so unhappy I emailed to cancel my whole booking and leave - no one replied to my request. There is no front desk you can go to - only an individual representative on WhatsApp who is not available after 6pm. They advertised as if it was the Anantara itself and had a picture of their over-water villas. This is NOT what you get despite paying thousands of pounds for a “holiday home”. False or at least misleading advertising. No replacement towels or beach towels. And to top off everything, the valet damaged my rental car costing me more than AED 2,000 in repairs from the rental company. The whole thing was a disaster. I will never ever use them again.

Very nice location, large terrasse, great kitchen and rooms equipment. View on Burj Al Arab directly from the terrasse. You can enjoy a coffee there with a fabulous view. Team was very friendly and

Smell in bathrooms and also water remains for long time in the shower room... We tried to fix it several times but the smell was dissapearing only if the AC was on. I didn't like the cost of i.e. additional services, i.e. beach towel costs >10 EUR per day, it could have been included.

Great location, and perfect sized apartment. I booked this apartment for my parents, who have difficulty in walking, so being able to take a short walk to the buggy’s was ideal. The hotel staff were very accommodating to my parents needs.

Not much I didn’t like, however unless you request extra amenities such as toilet roll, no one will ask as this apartment is self serviced and cleaning is not included. I think that given the rate charged, a check-in once in a while would be great! Having said that, if we needed anything (extra glasses, hangers for the wardrobes, etc) Sylvia was very quick in responding and getting everything sorted!

Very active manager for water activities. You want to relax, but he sticks with the sale of water entertainment. The prices are high.
