Bedding all clean. Property is aged with living areas satisfactory (bedrooms good).

Property needs a freshen up, cracking around internally. front screen door did not lock, second bedroom window - no fly screen (found it at the side of the house- screen torn).

property was adequate with nothing outstanding. Facilities are clean, tidy, but a bit tired. Bathroom and toilet are adequate but nothing great. Bedrooms clean and comfortable. Living facilities ok. Kitchen - neat and tidy.

Upgrade bathroom + add second bathroom if larger group of people, add a deck - but nothing major.

House is clean and comfortable for a group of 6. Very easy check-in, host provided lots of information before check in. Comfort Big bed, Big backyard, and plenty parking space.

Close to the beach, but street view is average.

The property was reasonably well equipped. Whilst it was self contained we decided not to cook but there appeared to be everything we would need if we had de died to do so.

The property was due for a spring clean - there were biscuit pieces under the lounge From a previous occupant.

Very comfortable & clean. Well-equipped kitchen, could cook full meals easily. Great location in central Kingscote. Excellent water pressure. Great TV with Netflix etc subscriptions.

House needs a bit of maintenance - the laminate edging on the kitchen floor is sharp and could be dangerous for a crawling baby, overgrown weeds on the side of the property. Only access is via stairs, which made it difficult to get the pram inside - this is not obvious from the listing/pictures. Would be good to have a couple of board games, also would be better to have handwash at every sink (eg laundry sink where the toilet is)

property was an older style house in need of some repairs, but comfortable enough for our family and dog to stay for the week🙂 great location, central to everything we needed to see!

We thought that the mattresses could probably be changed out for something less hard, or mattress toppers.

The tank water was very refreshing and pleasant to drink. The blankets in living room and heater made the stay comfortable during the winter nights!

The oven was very slow because the door doesn’t shut properly.

Beds are really hard and could use a mattress topper.

The flooring was uneven causing me vertigo. The bed was uncomfortable, extremely uncomfortable mattress. The oven and griller was dirty. The lock to the toilet you can not use as it is a slide lock and the house has moved that much they didn't match each other. An old car sitting in back yard. The cement slab outside to line on a 30 degree angle. The ground out back cracked and very uneven.

Good bed, great wifi. The location was fine and the home was spacious. Air conditioner was fine.

The BBQ is disgustingly filthy, could not be used. Correspondence came with a warning of additional cleaning costs if BBQ left unclean! Coffee machine was sitting in a puddle of rancid milk; there were no coffee pods (though featured in the advert). The yard is a shambles. The fireplace glass was black (I cleaned it), there was no kindling or matches, only logs which could not be split, so no fire.

The property was comfortable enough and in a good location.

Coffee cups were filthy. The yukkas outside the laundry door could poke an eye out as you walk past, the laundry path was on a massive lean as you walked it. The yard was not suitable for a dog as they can get out the large gap in between the gates. Inside the house it appears walls have been removed and no supporting beams provided in their place, looks like the roof will cave in as you sit on the couch.

Our dog was welcome which was great. Lots of well stocked kitchen and laundry cupboards. New furniture which was nice. Netflix was a great bonus for the kids on a large TV. Quiet street and even koala's in neighbouring trees.

In need of some structural maintenance, cracks in ceiling a fresh coat of paint, light switch not able to be accessed in kids bedroom due to the bunk bed, and gates so they are dog proof underneath. Nothing that can't be fixed in time.

Kingscote is central to everything. Perfect location.

Walking distance to the beach, reeves Point and the main shopping area. Great base for exploring areas on KI. Coffee pod machine 💖

The rain 🌧 and time went too quick

Location is good as well as all amenities. We love the couch and the ambience. The house has a "homey" feel to it. 😊

I think the hot water supply can be improved. We are a group of 8 which includes 4 kids who loves to shower. It wouldn't be nice for the last person to shower to know that the hot water supply suddenly ran off (especially during spring). I have to endure rinsing myself with cold water after a day trip to the sand dunes. I think the welcome note should also include a precaution to conserve hot water as it only has certain liters to use.

The air conditioner seems faulty- difficult to get going and random on/off

Communication prior to arrival was good. Appliances and furnishings were good and included Wi-Fi was handy

On arrival, not all beds were made for number of guests, light in bunk room did not work, house and dishes were not properly cleaned. The house was very cold and there was not sufficient supplies to light the wood fire. Yard security was not good and was not visually appealing. Gates were tied with a piece of rope and were banging through the night.
