Located in Red River, this attractive house for £215 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Upon entry into this modest townhome you will walk into our open concept living room with a wood burning fireplace, flat screen TV/satellite, fold-out LazyBoy queen sofa sleeper, the half bath, and our spacious kitchen with lots of counter space for food prep. Up the stairs on the middle floor you will find 2 bedrooms, and the fully stocked laundry area housing a stackable washer/dryer. The master bedroom ensuite houses a queen sized bed, smart TV and a private South facing balcony looking towards Main Street and the seemingly Evergreen Kit Carson National Forest. The guest bedroom features it's own bathroom with a tub/shower combo, and queen sized bed. Now if you continue on up the last flight of stairs to the third room you will find a set of twin bunk beds (2 twin beds) and another bunk with a full on the bottom/twin up top and a twin trundle for additional seating and sleeping... This home offers satellite TV and WiFi when you want to put your feet up, relax and enjoy your evenings after an activity filled day, now you have the amenities to do so including our newest addition, a Treager pellet grill to create some tasty meals! This property has beautiful views from each of the decks/balconies and is located a short distance from downtown where there is so much to do from dining in the local eateries/wineries to shopping to exploring our great outdoors with many activities such as skiing, snowmobiling, ziplining, nature trails, hikes, off-road trails, fishing, hunting, horseback riding jeep tours, festivals and so much more! This Red River retreat is great as a family destination for many years to come. The property itself was in a great location and had a nice amount of space. Kitchen was well stocked. Wood stove worked great. TV only had infomercial channels. Not even the basics were on it as DirecTv was “in negotiation” with all of you standard channels. TV is life after you put a 6 month old to bed at 7pm. Internet worked well. It got a little warm since there isn’t any air conditioning but there was a few various fans provided. Traeger grill was a nice touch, however grease pan hadn’t been emptied in a while so overflowed onto the deck when we took the cover off the first day we were there. We hadn’t cooked anything yet. Washer and dryer didn’t work at all. This was a HUGE inconvenience for us. We were traveling with a 6 month old and needed to clean his onesies. We wouldn’t have stayed at a place without a washer and dryer and this was part of the reason we chose to stay here. The washer filled up but then didn’t spin the clothes so then you just had soggy wet smelly clothes. We tried washing some by hand and putting them in the dryer, but it didn’t dry the clothes at all. Contacted property manager one night to let her know. Didn’t hear back that night and didn’t hear back the whole next day. Texted her to follow up and she then informed me that the repair man hadn’t gotten back to her yet. We ended up leaving the next day without any more info about the repair or an alternative place to do laundry. Overall, would maybe return if TV was upgraded and laundry was fixed.

Property was clean and very nice. Fully functional kitchen and property was close to main street. Everything we needed was there. Had a great time.

We really enjoyed this location. It was close to all the food and shopping. Property manager was supper helpful truly wanted our stay to be successful.

It worked perfectly for our family. We cooked a few meals there and ate out some. Beds were comfortable, we always had hot water. My favorite thing was building a fire in that wood burning stove. We would definitely come back.

This rental is very old and shows in the wallpaper, 1970's chain style light fixtures in bathrooms. Living room carpet is stained, the floor heater unit was filthy. (I left a finger swipe through the filth so hopefully someone would clean it) The sliding doors between the upstairs bathrooms were off their track. My husband had to work for several minutes, with my son in law on the other side, to get them to close properly!! Also, there is ZERO, I mean ZERO privacy between these two bathrooms. Only the barely working, thin sliding door between them. You can hear everything!! Extremely small showers too. We are not big, tall people so it was fine but if you need extra room, your body will be touching shower walls when you move, turn around. If you plan to cook, bring everything you'll need. We didn't even have a sharp knife to cut fruit. I used a butter knife and mangled our fruit. On a positive note, the location is good and in a safe area.

The amenities that were noted, not all were there: Not enough pellets for the Trager, nor any extra, couldn't grill all our food. The barbeque was noted as propane but it was a charcoal grill and there was no charcoal. There was no guest book. The window on the 3rd floor was cracked when we arrived. Disappointed that there weren't more outside chairs. Had to fix the pocket door in the bathroom upstairs, it was off track. The shade in the kitchen wouldn't raise . Too much furniture in the front room, hard to get around. I don't like to complain, trying to help make the next person's stay better. Thank you for all the help and assistance.

Had a great time in Red River as we always do. I’m always surprised that in a ski town that property owners don’t have more ski friendly homes. Like lots of hooks to hang coats and bibs and a boot rack to place ski boots inside. That and the washer and dryer were the two improvements I suggest. The place was clean and warm and my bed was comfortable!

We loved Papa DJ’s. Our family of 3 adults and 4 kids stayed there. It was decorated so cute and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay!! Loved all the beds and the 2 1/2 bathrooms! The kitchen was well supplied with everything we would need. It was really nice having a washer and dryer there, so we could wash clothes after a day of skiing! We had several deer come visit every evening. Lindsey was very personable and went out of her way to help us and make our stay in Red River very enjoyable!! We will stay here again !!! Thanks Lindsey!!!

My grown children and I came for the ski weekend. The condo would be great, but there was TONS of black hair in the master bed. The sheets did not smell dirty, but all the hair grossed me out. Master shower had lots of black mildew. The kitchen is not well stocked at all…had to buy aluminum pans from the local grocery store. The condo says it sleeps 10, and there were only 4 of us, so you’d think the hot water would accommodate, but after 3 people took showers, (and not even long ones), there was no more hot water until morning. So not only did one of us not get a shower after skiing all day, but we also had no hot water for kitchen cleanup after dinner. This would be a great place if it weren’t for these things.

We've stayed in both properties in this complex. This one was just fine, but the other was nicer, more modern and felt cleaner. Bedrooms were only lit with lamps, no overhead light or fan. Overall it was clean and a good stay, just pretty outdated. I let the property manager know there was no hair dryer and she said she would add it to the list to get!

Everything about this place was great! Check in process was seamless with plenty of room for everyone and as an added bonus there is a coffee shop and a winery within several feet of the property. Red River never disappoints.

Really enjoyed our stay! Perfect for 2 families - 3rd floor room with bunk beds is perfect for kids. Easy walk to all the restaurants and shops. And nice its in the route for the shuttle - nice for trips to/from the ski lifts. And the view - amazing to wake up each morning. Thanks Lindsay!
